Declare the good news of Jesus Christ to the world. Be ready to receive His calling from on high. Open your eyes and ears to hear Him speak. Accept the Holy Spirit into your hearts. Open your mind to learn of God’s ways through the Bible. The Second Coming of our Lord is near. We must warn people of the eternal judgments awaiting them if they don’t repent. The angels said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city—take them out of this place!” Let there be a warning to all the unbelievers that hell is real. Just as the angels told Lot’s family to escape the city. We must leave our sins in the past or be forever in chains after this life. Some people may laugh and take us “to be joking” with them when we declare Jesus’s Name. However, this is no laughing matter. Those that linger in their sins until the end will “be consumed in the punishment” that awaits them. They can either come to know the Lord or be forever tormented after this life. The Lord has already bore the sins of the world. We don’t have to suffer the pains of sin no more. Believe on the Lord and accept His forgiveness in your life. There is true joy in the Lord. The satisfaction experienced through addiction is only temporary and brings heartache and pain. All those that are thirsty can be filled in the Lord. His well never runs dry. His joy has no end.
The Lord urges us to spread His gospel to everyone. His message is not only vital to our family and friends but to others we come in contact with. His words contain a message of hope to all mankind. Jesus has come to set the captives free. All those that are engulfed in addiction can find freedom. The broken hearted can be healed. There is healing in God’s hands. Hearts can be made pure again. Shattered lives can be made whole again. All of our shame can be turned into joy. There is eternal bliss in the Lord. Through the cross all mankind can be saved. There is a cure to all sadness. His love brings happiness into the hearts of all mankind. This information is essential for salvation. Nobody can make it to heaven without accepting Jesus as their Lord. Their needs to be a transformation that takes place in our lives. Repentance must be in our hearts and forgiveness must be sought in prayer. His mercy is for all that give their lives to Him. We can’t just say we believe and be saved. We must follow the Lord in words and deeds. Jesus expects more with His followers. We are to live a life for Christ. Lift up the Lord on high. Let His glory shine bright in your lives. Let all the world know that Jesus saves. Cry out for all to hear that salvation is nigh. Lead those that listen to the fold of Christ. Commune with them. There is safety in the Lord. Shout for joy for the lost have been found.
Genesis 19:12-17
12 Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city—take them out of this place!
13 For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”
14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.
15 When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.”
16 And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.
17 So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.”
