Sin pulls us away from doing God’s will, where we end up doing our own will instead. This causes the Holy Spirit to become absent.

The gift of the Holy Spirit comes after baptism through prayer. But can only abide in us if we continue to obey God afterward.
If a person does harm upon God’s servants, they will be smitten by God also. It may not be in this life, but they will be punished.

Be led by the Holy Spirit and not the ways of the flesh. Doing God’s will is always better than doing what we think is right.
