If anyone thinks that the Book of Mormon is not plagiarized, then feast your eyes on Revelation, chapter 22. Verse 11 has been copied and pasted into the Book of Mormon. This is done without any reference to the book of Revelation. See for yourself in Mormon, chapter 9. It is written, “and then cometh the judgment of the Holy One upon them; and then cometh the time that he that is filthy shall be filthy still; and he that is righteous shall be righteous still; he that is happy shall be happy still; and he that is unhappy shall be unhappy still.” (Mormon 9:14) Compare this verse with the following verse in Revelation. It is written, “he that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” (Revelation 22:11) This sounds similar until we see "he that is unhappy shall be unhappy still" (Mormon 9:14) inserted into the verse. Examining the differences in Mormon and Revelation, we also see "he that is unjust, let him be unjust still" (Revelation 22:11) removed from the text.
When comparing the verses from the Bible and Book of Mormon, words were removed and added to. But is unjust the same as unhappy? No. What about holy? Is it the same as being happy? No. Joseph Smith changed what the Bible says. But there is more. Mormon is said to live around 400 A.D, and in America. Therefore, he would not have been in contact with John, as he lived in Jerusalem. The Book of Revelation was also written between 94 to 96 A.D. Even if Mormon was real, he would not have a copy of the Book of Revelation in his midst. Therefore, we see Joseph Smith and his colleagues copying and pasting Bible verses into the Book of Mormon as fillers. These additions to Mormon is plagiarism to the Bible. And for Joseph Smith to add and remove from the Book of Revelation, it means that God's plagues are upon him. This conman may be dead, but millions of Mormons still put their trust in the false prophet. This is sad to see, as they don't realize that his name is not in the lamb's book of life, since he changed the Book of Revelation. This means he is suffering in hell. Amen.
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 22:18,19)
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:12-15)
Let us pray: I pray that Mormons will begin to compare their scriptures to the Bible. That they would question new teachings instead of blindly accepting them would do them well. It is wonderful to see people compare and contrast other books with the Bible. At this point, people can see the issues in different books and stop reading them if necessary. This is all I ask of Mormons, God. I love these people, even though they cannot see this when I witness to them Your truths. You see, Lord, I have tried their core beliefs with the Bible, and their doctrines fail every time. So to call their man-made books not inspired is the least I can do. While studying the Book of Mormon, I found it to be contrary to the Bible. It plagiarizes Your precious words in so many places throughout this book. This is a big deal, Lord, and I am grateful that You have opened my eyes to the issues in Mormonism. And now I ask that You help me and others reach the Mormon people for Your sake. Open their eyes, ears, and hearts to Your truth by way of the Holy Spirit. I only want to see them come to You and be saved. I love You, Lord. Amen.
