“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward.” (Isaiah 52:7,11,12) – About 700–681 B.C.

“And then shall they say: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings unto them, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings unto them of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion: Thy God reigneth! And then shall a cry go forth: Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch not that which is unclean; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord. For ye shall not go out with haste nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel shall be your rearward.” (3 Nephi 20:40-42) – About A.D. 34.

Verses from the King James Version of Isaiah, chapter 52, were copied and pasted into the Book of Mormon. These verses can be found in 3 Nephi, chapter 20. Details of what took place can be found below…

In the Book of Mormon, we find references to many chapters of Isaiah. These chapters are scattered all throughout this book. This indicates that Joseph Smith found great pleasure in reading these specific chapters in Isaiah. At the same time, the wording in these chapters was changed in many ways. Recently, we read through chapter 51 of Isaiah, while comparing the verses in the Book of Mormon. Let's now jump to 3 Nephi, chapter 20, which is a copy of Isaiah, chapter 52. In Isaiah, it is written, “how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward.” (Isaiah 52:7,11,12) Praise the Lord for God’s witnesses and for His true believers. They do not live in willful sin but are clean who bear the vessels of the Lord Jesus in their life. Surely, Jesus has become our Lord, God, and King, if we are born again and are saved.

It was Jesus that supposedly came to America after His resurrection. He also said the same thing that Isaiah spoke. It is written, “and then shall they say: How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings unto them, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings unto them of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion: Thy God reigneth! And then shall a cry go forth: Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch not that which is unclean; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord. For ye shall not go out with haste nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel shall be your rearward.” (3 Nephi 20:40-42) The words in bold were added to the verses in Isaiah. As for what is written by this supposed Nephi character, don’t be fooled. Joseph Smith, Sydney Rigdon, Oliver Cowdry, and other people helped make up this story in the Book of Mormon. The translation never happened and when the Bible is copied like this, it was to fill up the pages of the Book. This was to make it seem longer and Biblical. God does not approve of this fictional book. I have tested it and found the Book of Mormon to be a work of Satan. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will learn from their mistakes and get right with You. Not only in our willful sins, I pray that people will turn to follow You, but in their false beliefs also. Help people know when they have believed in something that is not right in Your sight. This will help them stop believing in this fashion and spread their heretical beliefs to others. This happens all the time in the Mormon church. Their missionaries are trained up at an early age to reject all things Christianity. They are hard-pressed to not listen to us. God. Even when we quote the Bible, many of them laugh and scoff, while saying that we worship it. This is very sad, and I pray that people who feel this way now will turn from these sins before it too late. For these people, they have been warned of the destruction to come. It is now up to them to deny or accept what we have shared with them by the power of the Holy Spirit. I love Your ways, God, and especially the times I have to share Your precious teachings with others. Surely, the gospel message is what causes a person to confess their sins and get right with You. Thank You for the cross. I love You, Lord. Amen.
