“Thus saith the Lord, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away. Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst. I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.” (Isaiah 50:1-3) – About 700–681 B.C.

“Yea, for thus saith the Lord: Have I put thee away, or have I cast thee off forever? For thus saith the Lord: Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement? To whom have I put thee away, or to which of my creditors have I sold you? Yea, to whom have I sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away. Wherefore, when I came, there was no man; when I called, yea, there was none to answer. O house of Israel, is my hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem, or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make their rivers a wilderness and their fish to stink because the waters are dried up, and they die because of thirst. I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.” (2 Nephi 7:1-3) – About 559–545 B.C.

The King James Version of Isaiah, chapter 50, was copied and pasted into the Book of Mormon. This chapter of Isaiah can be found in 2 Nephi, chapter 7. The book of Isaiah and 2 Nephi are also available to read in the next chapters of this book. Details of what took place can be found below…

A characteristic of false prophets is their lack of respect for God’s Words. They apparently think they are entitles to change what God has inspired the authors of the Bible to write. People do this in order to make the verses fit their belief system. This causes people to doubt the Bible, and to trust in what they say over what has come from God. This is exactly what has happened with “The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints”. Joseph Smith changed the KJV Bible in the Joseph Smith Translation (JST), and the Book of Mormon. As a result, more people trust their own books and church prophets' teachings over the Bible. Speaking of changes, this cult has made a mockery of Isaiah, chapter 50. In its pure form it reads, “thus saith the Lord, Where is the bill of your mother’s divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away. Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst. I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.” (Isaiah 50:1-3)

Joseph Smith corrupted these verses. It is written, “yea, for thus saith the Lord: Have I put thee away, or have I cast thee off forever? I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.” (2 Nephi 7:1-3) Pay close attention to the words in bold as there are many changes in these verses. In Isaiah, it reads, “was there none to answer?” However, in 2 Nephi, it reads, “yea, there was none to answer.” These are two different interpretations of the text. One is a question and another an answer. What do you think about this? It should be easily seen that the Book of Mormon is not of God. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, please help more Mormons come to know the truth of God. I fear that too many of these people are dying and waking up in hell. This I worry about since I have family members who are in this cult. Thank You for bringing me out of it. Although I still wonder about other family members that will also come out of it. I am speaking of my brothers, sisters, and my stepmother. You have already taken my mom and my dad. You know their fate at this point, and I pray that my family members who remain alive will have their chance to be saved before their last breath. Give me opportunities to reach them and their children. I am grateful for being able to bring several of my nephews to church. Even my stepmother came to my baptism, which I am grateful for. Although these times have been rare, it gives me a glimmer of hope. I pray that in the near future, they will deny their false beliefs for Your sake, Jesus. My only desire is to bring people to You. To do the will of the Father, and not what my flesh desires. Heaven is where I want to be when I pass on from death to life. Take me home when the end of my days come. I pray that I will fulfill Your mission on earth first. But you know best, God. I am grateful to be alive and to serve You now. I love You, Lord. I praise You. Amen.
