Come To God That He May Attend to You

Come to God that He may hear and attend to you. Bow down before Him as someone who is poor and needy. Ask Him to preserve Your soul. That you may walk in His holiness. To save you and others who put their trust in Him. Please know that the Lord is merciful to those who acknowledge Him in their lives, and are genuine in their confessions. So cry unto God today, that He may know how sincere you really are. Rejoice in the Lord, for His mercy endures forever. Lift up the name of Jesus in praise, for through His blood we are made clean. David prayed, “bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.” (Psalm 86:1-4) Amen to what David prayed. God is so merciful.

The Lord is good to those who trust in Him. He is ready to forgive anyone who has fallen into sin and are sorry for what they have done. Even the worst transgressions are forgiven in this life, which is amazing. He doesn’t hold anything over us the moment our sins are forgiven. From the east to the west, they are expunged from our lives and His sight also. Those who call upon the name of Jesus will find mercy. Confess your sins to God now, that He may hear your voice and show you mercy. In your day of trouble, remember God and He will answer you. David continued and prayed, “for thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.” (Psalm 86:5-7) I love this prayer. God’s mercy is so real and for us. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people will come to know You. Instead of basking in the things of this world, they would choose to do Your will instead. I love Your ways and only desire to see more people be saved and go to heaven. I know that this desire is not something that will happen with most people. Their arrogance and pride keep them from falling down at Your feet for mercy. This is so sad, for I know that hell is filling up daily. In death, more people go down to hell than to paradise with You, Jesus. Thank You for saving a wretch like me. I was lost and then You found me. I had nothing going for me, but what the world offered, and then You opened my eyes to my potential. Because You took my hand and placed me in Your kingdom, I have seen countless people come to know You over the years. I didn’t do any of this but the Holy Spirit did it in and through me. I love You, Jesus. I trust in you. Amen.

  1. Amen! We should always confess our sins to God and do so sincerely. We could always improve and get rid of some of our sins. We cannot be perfect in this life but we can be better and do better each day. We can come boldly to the throne of grace, because of Jesus Christ. We can walk right up to the throne of God each time that we pray, because of Jesus Christ. Now is the time to confess our sins to God. Now is the time to come to Jesus Christ and be cleansed and washed and renewed and transformed in and through and by and with the blood of Jesus Christ and receive salvation. Praise God for Jesus Christ! Praise God for His cross! We need Jesus Christ for everything. We need to confess our sins to God and we will be heard by God in this life but only if we confess our sins and do so sincerely in this life. Only in this life God will hear confessions of sins and He will hear them even if they are insincere but He will only actively listen and/or respond if they are sincere. Praise God for Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice on the cross of calvary. Examples of sins could be porn or drugs or too much alcohol or pride or cussing or hatred or envy or jealousy or wrath or gossip or slander or calumny or unforgiveness which is a greater sin than any other sin combined except for the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. There are many more sin that a person could commit but God can forgive and erase all of them and can forgive you for all of them except for the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. If you’re troubled over the blasphemy against the holy Spirit, you haven’t committed it. All other sins can and will be forgiven. All that it takes is a sincere confession of the sins that you have committed.
