There are many people that believe in Jesus by word only. They haven’t given Him there whole hearts. They aren’t doers of the Word. It’s sad, as Jesus will not know them. They heard His message but never got up to follow Him. The same thing has happened time and time again on earth. Of all the many people in Noah’s time, many disregarded His message of the flood. There were others that listened but when the time came they didn’t follow. There were only few that actually got on the ark and were saved. The same holds true to the Lord’s time on earth. Most people rejected His words. Others sat and listened to the King of Kings but when asked to follow, they couldn’t do it. Only few left everything they had and followed Jesus. 1To follow the narrow gate was too much of a life change to make. If people could just open their hearts to the things of God many more would be saved.
All those that follow Jesus are saved. However, only few people in all the places of the earth lift up their cross and follow Him. For the hearts of many are closed to the things of God. Others are open to listen but never get their lives in order to let the Lord in. They may even go to church but during the week their hearts are tied to the things of the world. The day I discovered the Lord and followed Him my life was changed forever. I began to pray often and His love came into my life like a fire. I can see the counsels of God in the Bible and love to follow them for they are wise. I can’t wait for the day that I can rest in the Kingdom of God. All of my fears will be over. The Lord will dry all my tears. My pains of this earth will be washed away. Thank You Lord for your great mercy. Thank You for showing me the truth. I dedicate my life to You. You are everything to me. I love You Lord.

1Luke 13:22-27 (KJV)
22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
