Lord, it is sad to know that most people think Halloween is harmless and not evil in the least. Even my wife hates it when I bring up the evils of Halloween, which is very disturbing. It is hard to believe that people who call themselves Christians would participate in Halloween or think it is harmless. To these people I have to wonder how their life is with You. Do they engage with You often or not so often in prayer and/or Bible study? Do they seek out ways to minister to people when it comes to You, or seek out ways to fulfill their own flesh? What I’ve seen are Sunday Christians and not so many devout Christians who truly live for You on a day-by-day basis. I once thought that everyone around me at church loves You in the same way I do, but I was so wrong. Lord, I do encourage people at church to put You first, while seeking out things to do for Your kingdom until church is in session again. God, help them do this and not allow them to be taken advantage of on days like Halloween. I love You, Jesus. I trust in You. Amen.
