Today’s Prayer (05/02/2021)

Oh Lord, I pray that come death, that Your angels will come for me and bring me to where You are. In that very hour, it is my prayer that You will know how much I truly loved You. That I served You with all my heart. Everything You asked of me, I did it all to the best of my ability. I know that I failed You at times, but know that I am so sorry and pray that Your forgiveness is for me. It is my desire for every person I am around to know You as I know You, Jesus. You are my King. You are my God. You are my Savior. You are my Lord. You are the great I Am. My dear friend and Father also. You have heard my cries over the years and have wiped them all away in Your love and patience for me. Surely, I am not worthy of Your love, but You have shown it to me time and time again nonetheless. I will never understand why You never gave up on me but am so grateful to know that I am in good standing with You now. And why would I now go back to my old life and betray You? I will not, Lord. On that day, when I do die, I will run into Your arms, if You would just let me. You are my dear, dear, Father, and I love You with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength. Whatever You wish of me, I will do it, my God. I am Yours and You are mine. Have my heart in this hour and do a mighty work in me. I trust in You. I love You. May more people be saved and also enter Your rest come judgment day. Amen.

2 Corinthians 2:14-17

2 Corinthians 2:14-17 (KJV)
14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
