Hell And The Destruction Thereof

In Job 26, we learn more about God and His mighty power and creation. And for this message, we will focus in on the verse spoken of about hell, which we will go over now. He wrote about God and said, ¹“hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.” (Job 26:6) Here we have a glimpse of what hell is like even in these few words. And to help you understand things, we will read from Hebrews 4, which reads, ³“neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” (Hebrews 4:13) So we learn that God sees everyone and everything at all times and in all places in the day. Every good and vial thing is made evident to Him. So people secretly look at porn, He can see. People who do terrible things with their friends and significant others, God already knows about it. Anyone who dies like this is now suffering in hell. They are naked and have nothing to cover them from the heat, jaggedy rocks, and destruction thereof. The people in this place are tormented day and night and have no end to their suffering. This is so terrible, and I wish that no person would ever have to go to hell, unfortunately, most people do not choose to believe in and follow Jesus, but do their own things in life instead. Jesus did warn these people about hell many times in scripture. One such time he said, ²“fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:26-28)

In hell, there is no rest for any person who is there. Instead, they are tormented day and night, where their body and soul will be become utterly mutilated in hell. The pain people experience there is like nothing we have ever felt before. Imagine the worst pains you have ever felt and times them by 1000%. This is close to what hell is like. It will not be a party, where all the famous people will be, but a place of agony. People will have wished they repented in this life. No one will be able to help them in their sorrow and grief. Now, if you think hell is bad, every person who leaves hell are judged and then thrown into the lake of fire. In Revelation 21, it reads, ⁴“he that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:7) This lake of fire is where people will experience a second death. What this will be like is unknown to me, but it will be the worst thing anyone we could ever imagine. I do not wish to see anyone go to hell, nor go to such an awful place like the lake of fire. Instead, my prayer is that people who are heading there will humble themselves and turn to God. They just need to stop and call upon Jesus for salvation. Most people are headed to hellfire and damnation, but this can easily be stopped if a person decides to give their lives to Jesus. Then, can He rescue them and lead them on His path of righteousness, which leads to heaven. Then, will they become His very own son or daughter.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people who are on the path of destruction will stop in their tracks and follow You instead. Way too many people are headed to hell and don’t even realize, and I am afraid for their souls. I do not wish to hear of anyone I know and love to go to this place of torment when they die, but I cannot force their hand. I wish people would hear the words that You have put in my mouth, but too many people are slow to hear or have closed up entirely to what I have to share with them about You, Jesus. There is still hope for anyone that has breath in this life still, but people must humble themselves and come unto You fully to be saved. People cannot be partially for You and partially for the things of this world. Instead, people need to make a choice to follow You completely. Only then can You do a work in their lives and save their souls from destruction. Your ways are holy, righteous, pure, and also just. Nothing done in the flesh that is evil can go unpunished, lest people repent and turn to You in their sins. Then, can you rescue them, that they do not have to go through the torments that await them. Lord, I wish to see more people be saved and go to heaven. Surely, any person who could see heaven would no longer desire to be on their destructive path any longer but turn to You instead. There would surely be a three hundred and sixty-degree turn to following You. Lord, what I do not understand is how people can rationalize their sinful ways and still think they are saved and going to heaven. Don’t people realize that Your kingdom is pure and our sinful actions are not allowed there? Therefore, what people desire in this life, will they desire in the next. So they will not be allowed in heaven. It is my prayer that people will wake up to their sins, that they may repent and turn to You for salvation. I love You. Amen.

Hebrews 4

1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
