Matthew 6:31-33

Matthew 6:31-33 (KJV)
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Psalm 119:1-3

Psalm 119:1-3 (KJV)
1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

Today’s Prayer (12/12/2018)

Oh Lord, my God, it is wonderful to think of You, during this time of year. It is amazing to think of how You came into this world as promised by the prophets of old. Even your lineage is of David and Abraham, whom loved you from the beginning. Surely, to be of Your descent is glorious indeed. What a gift it was for the people that were a part of where it all started. I am grateful that Abraham was true to You and never gave up on your promises to Him. I am also so grateful for David. That He came back to You, Lord. His praises fill me up with joy. I know that it was all for Your glory, for You deserve the highest praise. Even Solomon was in your line and how knowledge he was. His words were and still are inspirational to us all. Thank You for speaking through these men. I have learned so much from their words and I know it is because You were a part of it. Nothing is good unless You have a hand in it, God. I pray that we will ever remember You, during this Christmas season. That we will understand why we celebrate Christmas and it is because of You, Jesus. You came into the world to save us all from our sins. I am so blessed. Thank You for Your mercy. I am saved by Your grace. Your forgiveness has changed my life. I love You and praise You, Lord. Amen.

Matthew 1:1,2

Matthew 1:1,2 (KJV)
1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

The Genealogy Of Jesus

Along with Abraham and David, there were other key people to note in the line of Jesus’s descendants. One person of importance was Solomon.

Today’s Prayer (12/11/2018)

Oh Lord, I pray that people will think about You even more so during this Christmas season. It is surely a wonderful time for families to get together and enjoy each other’s company. It is also fun for many people to turn on the TV and watch the Christmas Classics. People also focus their attention on Santa Clause and that brings them joy. Sure, the family part may be good and all, but all these other things are distractions for Your true worship. During this time of year, it not about focusing our time on things that don’t exist and don’t matter. It is a time to celebrate Your birth and tell others of what You’ve done. As believers, we come and worship You Lord. We don’t want anything at all to distract us from worshiping You. You are our King and Lord of all. Other things can try to replace the moment and the most special time of the year but it will never replace Your love and peace. You are my strength and my hope. My promises are in Your, my Savior. I pray that all Christians will turn to You and give You the worship that You deserve. I praise You Lord. I rejoice in Your birth. Thank You for coming down and saving us from our sins. I am eternally grateful. I love You. Amen.

Matthew 1:23-25

Matthew 1:23-25 (KJV)
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

Acts 3:19-21

Acts 3:19-21 (KJV)
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Today’s Prayer (12/10/2018)

Oh Lord, I pray that people do repent before it is too late. I pray that they will understand the need to turn from their wicked ways, in order to have Your presence in their lives. May people no longer be caught up in their current lifestyle, that they feel no need to change. This is getting way to many people into trouble these days. It is causing them to seek the ways of the world instead of Your calling for their lives. What is sad, God, is that when I go on the streets, these people laugh at me and think I am nuts, when I am only out their witnessing the truths of the gospel to them. They think they have it made and what I am doing for God’s kingdom is not necessary. It is so sad to think that they feel that hell will be where the best people will be at and they’ll be having a good ol’time there. Wow, are they mistaken, Lord. Your Holy Spirit has spoken to me and these people will be punished for their sins in the lake of fire. I pray that the wicked people in this world will humble themselves and find mercy in You Lord. I know that there is still hope. Help me find such people, that they may be rescued and delivered into Your hands, dear God. I love to serve You and to see people find faith in You. I love You. Amen.

Matthew 1:22,23

Matthew 1:22,23 (KJV)
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Today’s Prayer (12/09/2018)

Dear God, I come to You now in praise and honor. You are my King and I worship You. O come Emmanuel. You are welcome Jesus, my Lord and my God, in my life. I honor You, my King. Your mission was fulfilled and we are saved because of Your sacrifice on the cross. You have saved us from our sins, if we but believe in You, Jesus. I pray that as You have covered my sins through Your blood, that others will also come unto You and fill of Your mercy today. May their sins be covered and washed clean, as You cleanse me daily. My life is Your, dear God. I know that You came for the redemption of mankind and for that I praise You and adore You, my God. I am so grateful to know that what You have done was for me. That I am important in Your eyes. That I have a purpose. You have opened my eyes to greater things. Your Spirit touches my heart daily. I am moved to walk in Your light. Thank You for Your guidance and direction. I can do nothing but through You, dear God, who strengthens me. I am blessed to have You ever in my life. I give You glory. I rejoice in the Name of Jesus. I love You. Amen.

O Come Emmanuel

700 years after Isaiah, the prophesy of Immanuel was fulfilled. Unto Mary, and her husband Joseph, did the Lord Jesus come into this world.

Lamentations 3:22-25

Lamentations 3:22-25 (KJV)
22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

Today’s Prayer (12/08/2018)

Oh Lord, what a wonderful God You are. Oh, how merciful You are. Your compassion never fails. Thank You for waiting on me and never giving up hope. Though, I let You down so many times and forgoed my chances at forgiveness, You never gave up on me. I was far from You for many years but You were still waiting on me. It was in all my bitterness and shame that everything came crumbling down on me. I was broken and I needed saving. I didn’t think it was possible but needed to tell You sorry. At that moment, I thought it would be over and You would leave me forever, but I was wrong. That was when You came to me and put Your arms around me. Your presence filled me with so much peace and joy. I began to feel things that I never felt before. There was hope for a new life. How could this be, I’d ask? Then, You made it crystal clear to me. I was worth saving, as with all people on this earth. We are all loved but have lost our way. Thank You for looking past my sins and washing my sins clean. Your forgiveness and mercy is like nothing I have ever seen before. I am amazed by Your grace. Thank You Lord. I love You. Amen.
