There is a great evil in this world. It is so bad that Satan’s lies are in many different religious groups, and the people within don’t even realize it. It isn’t until somebody’s heart is open to the truth of God over men that a change can happen. There are people that are filled with the Holy Spirit, that God calls to confront these people. And although their efforts are valiant in the sight of God, many times their words fall onto deaf ears. And because there are only few true Christians, this effort doesn’t happen enough. Instead, people go on believing in a faith that is dead. The apostle Paul saw all this when he said, 10“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” Satan is so crafty as to make a doctrine look and appear good on the outside. However, once you compare these teachings with the Bible you will see how far off they really are. Evil spirits can take over anyone’s life that allows them in. It doesn’t take much but sin and a false belief in Christ that gives them access. It is because we don’t have God’s armor on, is how they enter in. So what I am saying here is to watch out. 2There are many wolves in sheep’s clothing, that are being led by Satan and not God. Even some have seen these evil spirits and followed them, since they also appear as angels of God.
Do not be deceived into following any teaching from a seducing spirit. Trust in God and read the Bible that you may not be led astray. Understand that when you follow a false teaching, you yourself is an enabler of that teaching to your family and its generations. Do not get caught up in the midst of this mess for it leads to your destruction and those that follow thereafter. These lies need to be stopped now. Paul warned of this when he said, 8“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Please understand that anybody that preaches a different gospel that what is found in the Bible is being led by Satan himself. Notice how Paul mentioned that Satan’s demons can also appear in the form of an angel. This can be very alluring to people that are not in the faith. But if you were for Christ and knew the Bible, you’d know what they are teaching is deceitful and untrue. John warns us to 12“believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
The Bible makes us well aware that many false prophets have come into the world. Following their teachings is believing in the lies of evil spirits. The very reason why people follow what is false, is because of this. They do not have the word of God in their hearts. Therefore, the false teachings, appear to be good, although on the inside they are the very thoughts of Satan. It we are not reading the Bible than it is easy to fall under these traps. Speaking of spirits, the Bible helps us know if they are of God or not. It just takes a few questions on our part. If you ask them to confess 12“that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh” and they do so, then they are of God. However, if they do not, then they are not of God and have the 12“spirit of antichrist”. The evil pan of these demonic spirits are to pervert the purity of God’s Word. And to do so, it uses people like you and me to do such its necessary damage. Those that attach themselves to such a church are blinded to the truth. It is also very hard to leave. This is because, once a church is formed with false prophets and teachers, then Satan also has its grips on everyone that attends. He is so crafty as to mix in scripture with the teachings of the church. Everything appears in order until someone in the true faith of Christ finds them out and examines them for who they really are. They may even go so far as to witness the truth to them. However, these words often hit closed doors. They already believe they have the truth so they have no need to hear.
I know for a fact that many denominations are of the devil and following the doctrines of demons. In this message, I will only cover one of them. One such church is the Mormon religion or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Their founder and first prophet did exactly what Paul and John warned against. When he was young, he had encounters with a so called angel and then spirits that appeared to be God the father and Jesus. In each of these encounters, Joseph did not know the Bible well enough to test them and try them. It became unknown to him if they would even confess that Jesus had come in the flesh. Instead, he listened to their commands and obeyed. Because of this, Joseph became a false prophet. Instead of following what God says in the Bible, he was now receiving new revelation from his God. Here are just a few things that he was revealed to him. 1. He was given the right to marry more than one wife. 2. He was instructed to build temples. 3. He was told that in these temples, there would be baptisms for the dead. 4. Inside those walls, people could be sealed in marriage for time and all eternity. 5. He was told that faithful Mormons would become Gods and have their own planets. And these are just a few of his revelations. If you read the Bible, you will notice that none of these revelations compliment the Bible. In reality, it goes against the purity of God’s teachings in every way.
As I mentioned before, the teachings of false prophets appear to be good on the outside but are always corrupt on the inside. There false teachings are full of blasphemies to God’s holy Word. However, to know this, is to have an open heart to what the Bible teaches. Let us now look at each of these new revelations to see if they are of God or of Satan. 1. Joseph Smith was given the right to marry more than one wife. The Bible teaches, 9“A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife.” Speaking of the church, Paul stated that not only the bishop but also the deacons are to have one wife. In God’s holy church, He would never go against this teaching. 2. Joseph Smith was instructed to build temples. Jesus spoke of the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem. 4“Verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” And this prophecy occurred, as Jesus spoke, in 70AD. Stephen went on to teach against the building of temples in Acts 7. In that chapter, he also said, 5“the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands.” This teaching goes against the building up of temples. It is a well-known teaching among the Christian faith that our bodies are the temple of God. Paul teaches, 6“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” Any true Christian, that reads the Bible, would know this to be true.
Let us continue to look at the revelations of the first prophet of Mormonism and compare them with the Bible. 3. Joseph Smith was told that in these temples, there would be baptisms for the dead. This same topic also came up once in the Bible. Paul actually was confronted by it, when wicked men were found twisting the meaning of baptism. His response to those people that were doing such evil practices was, 7“why are they then baptized for the dead?” As Christians we leave it at that, as no doctrine would ever be made from questioning another person. People that die have no need for baptism. As 11“it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”. There is no second chances to be saved. 4. Inside the temple walls, people are sealed in marriage for time and all eternity. The very fact that his God taught on marriage in heaven, should be a big red flag. Jesus taught, 3“in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” To continue in marriage after death would deny the words of Jesus. 5. Joseph Smith was told that faithful Mormons would become Gods. As Jesus said earlier, when we die, 3“we are as the angels of God in heaven”. Isaiah taught, 1“I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me.” This is a true saying to those in the faith. As you can see, each of Joseph Smith’s revelations are contrary to scripture. This makes him a false prophet and the church he formed also false.
To conclude, false teachings can be found out, if a person open’s their eyes to the Words of the Bible. I was once under the clutches of Satan, while in the Mormon Church, and never saw the truth until I was broken. It took a willing and open heart to seek God in prayer. In doing so, I knew that my life was apart from the Lord and that no matter how hard I tried, nothing helped me get better. It took confiding in the Lord and His Words of the Bible that led me to true confession. I didn’t just pray a prayer but poured my heart out to God. I needed His forgiveness and mercy. And this is exactly what started me off on the right path. The more I prayed, the more I desired to live for Jesus and know His teachings in the Bible. Finally, the hands of the evil one were cast off of me and my eyes were opened. I was able to see the teachings of Mormonism for what they really are. It was sad in the beginning, to know that I was deceived, for all my life, but also a big relief to know the truth. Since leaving that church, I’ve become a member of the body of Christ. I am no longer an ism to religion but a Christian who loves the Lord and is willing to live for Him above men. I have realized that it is more important to find out the truth than to live a life and find out the hard way in judgement. It is true that Mormonism was formed by a man filled with evil spirits. And this is still true with their false prophets today. I am here to expose this corrupt church for who they really are. It is my prayer that more people leave it behind and come to know the Jesus of the Bible.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, will You come now and open the eyes of the blind. Come into the hearts of everyone that is broken and ready to know the truth. I have planted the seeds of truth and wisdom, and ask that You now do the rest. Send the Holy Spirit and pierce the hearts of everyone that is living a lie. Help them know the false teachings they are under. Expose the wicked men of their church for who they really are. Lead them out of a broken faith that has no foundation. May these people come to the realization that all beliefs and doctrines must also compliment the Bible. I pray that hearts will be opened to read and that Godly knowledge will be gained. Cast aside all manmade teachings and usher in the truths of God. I am grateful to be led out of Mormonism. Thank You for showing me the light and opening my eyes to its deceits. You have set me free Lord God. I am so grateful to be led by You and not man. I love You more. Amen.
Let us read the Bible:

1Isaiah 45:5,6;20-23 (KJV)
5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.
20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
2Matthew 7:13-23 (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
3Matthew 22:23-32 (KJV)
23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
27 And last of all the woman died also.
28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
4Matthew 24:1-5 (KJV)
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
5Acts 7:44-54 (KJV)
44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
46 Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
47 But Solomon built him an house.
48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
50 Hath not my hand made all these things?
51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
61 Corinthians 3:6-21 (KJV)
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your’s;
71 Corinthians 15:1-34 (KJV)
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
8Galatians 1:1-12 (KJV)
1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
91 Timothy 3 (KJV)
1 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
101 Timothy 4 (KJV)
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
11 These things command and teach.
12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
11Hebrews 9:24-29 (KJV)
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
121 John 4:1-6 (KJV)
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
We have seen many of your types and we looking forward to see more thank you I know the church is true
My question for you Ezekiel is, did you read the whole message? If so, you will have seen that in summary I am comparing 5 new Joseph Smith revelations that are contrary to the Bible. If any of my references to the Bible confused you in any way or you disagree, please let me know. In my messages I refer to the Bible as the source of truth and if anything goes against it, then I will teach against it as Paul the apostle and many other apostles did. God bless you.
Well, Brother Paul,
Bless you for following what you believe to be the truth. I’m not here to disparage you or your beliefs. You are as we all are blessed with Agency from Heavenly Father to make our own choices. I have read and do read the Bible often. Like so many others, you seem to take out of the bible what supports your idea and then either ignore what has been said in previous verses or don’t fully state the rest of the verse or the following verses. Thereby denying a full context. Only stating that which you want. Of course the WHOLE verse reads: “29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?” Why are they then baptized for the Dead? So you would leave it at a half truth. If you accept the Bible as you say, then that would meant you accept ALL of the Bible not just those verses you want to back up your point of view.
May the Lord continue to bless you as far as you will let him.
A question about a practice is not doctrine. There needs to be a reference in the Bible that confirms this practice and there is no such thing. To just assume that this question is a doctrine and make it a belief is taking this verse out of context. You got to ask yourself, why is there only one person over the centuries that has ever done this and it was Joseph Smith? Because of what he did, the practice of Baptisms for the dead is essential in the Mormon Temple. These types of misinterpretations can easily happen, and lead many astray, when somebody is seduced by an evil spirit or is following in their own way of thinking outside of God. Read what I mentioned above about these evil spirits and we will talk more. Know that I was once a Mormon like yourself until I found out the truth of God. It took much prayer and study in God’s Word (The Bible), combined with an open and a learning heart, to know the truth. I would rather follow the teachings of God over mankind. Only the doctrines of Christ will lead us on the right path. God bless you.
