When sin runs deep in our lives it can feel like God has no place with us. Â We may feel that He doesn’t love us. Â We may even think that we have done too much for Him to forgive our sins for they are great. Â God doesn’t desire for us to live this way, in shame and guilt. Â Even in sin God loves us and wants us to come to Him. Â He wants to free us from our sinful lifestyle and make us alive in Him. Â We may be far from Him now but this is only our boarder we’ve put before Him. Â He is waiting for us to come to Him with an open heart for change. Â He is looking for those that are willing to forsake their old lives for Him. Â The Holy Spirit can dwell within us but we must first make a plunge to walk with God. Â Living in sin grieves the Spirit and opens up evil spirits in our lives. Â If the description above is your life than pray for a cleansing of your soul. Â Ask God for deliverance over the evil one. Â Ask for His forgiveness and that He will come in your heart. Â If you believe in Him, He will break free the chains of addiction in your life. Â He will change you from the inside out. Â Don’t quit now, your old life is coming to an end and you will soon be renewed in Christ. Â As you rely on Him to guide your life He will make you strong. Â His light will replace all darkness within you. Â Everything that has plagued you before will seem like yesteryears. Â For His love will fill your life with much joy and peace. Â All followers of Jesus are securely planted on His path of eternal life.
I know the Lord can help us control the vile acts of the flesh. We may struggle finding ways to overcome sin but nothing is impossible with the Lord. Come to Jesus and He will change our lives forever. You will see things more clearly than ever before. In prayer, He will deliver you from bondage. God is our redeemer. Only He has power to redeem us from sin. We can struggle all our lives trying to live upright but this was never God’s plan. His will is for us to come to know His love. When He is in our lives it is no longer a struggle to walk with Him but a blessing. We are firmly planted in the truths of the Bible. Our souls long for His goodness and grace and not the things of the world. We desire eternal satisfaction and not a short term fix for our problems. The Lord is who sustains our lives. I can see God’s love for me and it makes me so happy. I have never been more full of joy than now. The Lord is my light and my strength. My desire is to dwell in His presence, all my days. Oh Lord, You heard my cries and had mercy upon my soul. As I sought after You, You listened to my cries and came for me. You delivered me from my addictions. You are my shield when temptation strikes. Thank You for the cross. Thank You for dying for my sins. I am amazed by your grace. I love You.
Psalm 27: 1,2;7-9 (KJV)
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.
9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
