The Lord is the one who gets me going every day. After prayer with God I am much more at peace with the new day ahead of me. He guides my heart and draws me near to Him. Though my flesh is weak, His love fills my soul and fulfills my needs. My needs are much more in tune with the Lord’s will. My mind is focused on others instead of myself. When someone is in need I am more inclined to help them. No longer am I afraid of what people will think of me when I approach them. When the Spirit prompts, I am given boldness to share His message. I am able to speak in love, for God is with me. It is amazing the type of day we can have just with a prayer in our hearts. I am so grateful that the Lord loves us so much to think of our needs and the needs of others. I am grateful to be His vessel to serve others. I love the Lord and am thankful to have Him in my life.

Colossians 4:2-6 (NKJV)
2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;
3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,
4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

My life is dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus to the world. I love the Lord and want everyone to feel the same love. I would feel awful if I kept His joy to myself. For this I write daily devotionals to lead people to Christ. Jesus is the anchor of my soul.
