Thanks For God’s Mercy

My heart sings out in thanksgiving, for the Lord God is so merciful. His kindness has no end. He casts out all darkness and replaces it with His light. I am so grateful for Jesus and His offering for sin on the cross. We are unworthy of His mercy but He still extends it to us freely. How amazing is God’s goodness. His grace brings us from brokenness into His love. The best part is it is totally free. Jesus asks everyone that has an ear to hear to 3“follow me”. This is so incredible that someone as wicked as me can be forgiven. To have a second chance at life is what I’ve needed. We all say, at times, that we wish we could redo certain things in our lives but Jesus takes this a step further. We don’t have to worry about the past. 2He cleanses us from all impurities and whites out our past failures. As we turn from our sins and follow Him we are redeemed. His blood sacrifice is for us. We have many chances to follow Jesus but today is the day for our salvation. The day you confess your sins and welcome Jesus into your life, His blessings will begin to reign down upon You. For you have chosen to live for God over the world. When this transformation occurs then, like David, you will begin to say, 1“I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel”. His instructions will be nuggets of truth for your new walk with Him.

I thank the Lord for being there for me. I have given Him my heart and He has not forsaken me. I feel as David, when he said, 1“I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad.” God’s fire has lit up my soul to live for Him. The Holy Spirit has given me the passion to share His love with the world. Jesus asked me to follow Him and I finally listened. He has given me the passion to share His truth. I don’t wish anyone to die in their sins. The wicked will be punished but there still is time. For those that turn from sin and follow Him, they are made free. For those that repent, God will free them from hell. If you haven’t given your life whole heartedly to God, do it today. For nobody knows if tomorrow will come. Follow Jesus and read His words. In doing so, you will no longer be easily swayed by the world. I am more happy than any other time in my life. 1“My heart is glad” and 1“my flesh also shall rest in hope.” There is now a hope that never ends. Trust in Jesus and will be led to eternal happiness, in this life and the life to come.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I love You. Thank You for pulling me out of a life of sin. I gave it all to You and You changed me to the very core. Thank You for caring enough to save me. I am forever Yours. My heart is in Your hand. I praise You. Amen.
