Bless the Lord, for He has done so much for us all. Sing out in praise for His mercy and grace. Give your hearts fully to the King of Glory in worship. Come before Him and eagerly learn of His ways. Partake of His knowledge. There is spiritual understanding to be held for all that seek it. Reading the Word of God will open up our minds to the will of God. It will be a map to guide our path. If we truly believe in Jesus, we will rise up to serve Him. We will welcome His counsel in our lives. Our hands will no longer be tied down in our own desires. We will raise them up high as an offering to the Lord. Our hearts shall no longer be closed but opened to the Holy Spirit. It will be pleasing to our souls to do good works for the kingdom of God. In service to our King, we will be strengthened. If we listen, we will learn patience. His joy will radiate in our lives.
We have so much to give thanks this day. For we were wicked but God made us righteous. His merciful hand broke free the chains that kept us bound. We were forgiven and washed clean in the blood of Jesus. The Lord accepts all that come to Him in repentance. To all that follow Him are “partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light”. We are delivered from “the power of darkness” and brought forth into the love of Jesus. Oh Lord, I honor and bless You. My heart sings out in anthems of thanksgiving to Your Holy Name. I can feel Your loving arms all around me. There is so much peace in my life. Your grace has given me new hope. Your mercy has set me free. You continue to convey much joy into my heart. How thankful I am to feel Your matchless love. There is nothing like Your presence. I am captured by your beauty. I love You.
Colossians 1:9-14 (NKJV)
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;
12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
