Sodom was a city engulfed in sin. What the people were doing there was so evil that the Lord was made known of their crimes in heaven. The Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” Even the smallest of cities are still seen by the Lord. There is no sin that can be covered up. The people practiced immorality like it was nothing. There was no sense of punishment for the sexual sins they were committing. They were outwardly displaying their lustful nature before men. The things they did grieved those in heaven. Our time is not much different than theirs. With access to technology, pornography is rampant among teens and adults. People live in a secret world just to fulfill their lusts. They justify their sin to themselves. If you are among these people than repent. Judgement is near. We can either live to death or live to life eternal. There is only sadness and torment in spiritual death. Commit your hearts to the Lord. Let Him take you to places you’ve never seen before. He will fight for your cause if you let Him. You will be delivered from your enemies. Your heart will be changed. Through prayer your life will be led to the Lord. His love will lead you to good pastures. Love Him and His promises will be fulfilled.

The Lord is looking over our current generation and is saddened by what He sees. He is looking at their lives they are living. He can see their hidden lifestyles that they hope to keep secret. If anyone is involved with sexual sin He is aware. If anyone is involved with drugs He knows. If we are living for the world He is mindful to it. He knows if our hearts are really in it for Him. His will is “that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice”. His promises are true for all those that keep His commandments. If we live in favor of our lusts there is only torment and hell that awaits us. If we love the Lord and our neighbor, there awaits heaven and endless happiness in His Kingdom. Joy in the Lord has no end. The love of the Lord has no boundaries. If our lives are given over to God, our past is forgotten. Our sins are forgiven. We are born again in the loving arms of God. We become children of the most High God. We just need to make a commitment to live for righteousness or live for temporary joy on the earth. The Lord is righteousness and we can feel His joy radiating in our lives. Eternal life is given to all those that believe in Jesus and walk in His ways. Oh Lord, You have delivered me from my addiction. I am no longer a slave to my lusts. I am liberated because of the cross. You had mercy upon me and washed my sins away. Thank you for your kindness. I live with much joy in my heart for You are with me. I love You Lord.

Genesis 18:16-21
16 Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way.
17 And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing,
18 since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
19 For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”
20 And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave,
21 I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”

My life is dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus to the world. I love the Lord and want everyone to feel the same love. I would feel awful if I kept His joy to myself. For this I write daily devotionals to lead people to Christ. Jesus is the anchor of my soul.
