Prepare To Meet God

If you have strayed from the Lord, return today. Turn from your wicked ways. Toil no longer in sin. Addiction is like playing with fire. If we don’t get a handle on it we will get burned. Shake off the chains of addiction. This life is a time to prepare to meet God. Don’t delay repentance for today is the day of deliverance. Think about the life you are living. If you die today will you be ready to come before God’s thrown in judgement? Are you ready to face His wrath? Only those that truly know the Lord will be ready to meet Him. On judgement day, all the wicked will be punished. They shall be cast out into hell, where there is only sorrow and suffering that abounds. Temporary joy in the things of the world is not worth a never ending life of torment. There is still time to change and the Lord is waiting. His arms are stretched out to us all the day long. If we might come to Him all of our fears will be gone. All of our suffering will loosed. We shall find rest in the Lord.

Come to the Lord in prayer and repent of your sins. Seek the Lord’s mercy and you shall be healed. If you sincerely desire for change you shall be forgiven. Accept Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and you shall be redeemed. Your chains of addiction will be loosed. You shall walk and not stumble for the Lord is with you. Come to Jesus with a broken heart. Let Him into your life and into your heart. Let Him cleanse you from within. Strive to live a life worthy of Jesus. Don’t get stuck in pitfalls but let the Lord pick you back up. Pray often lest you fall into temptation. Get to know the Lord and let His Spirit rest upon you. Oh Lord, I will seek You in all my ways. Let your will be done in my life. You have rescued me and given me a new life. You had mercy upon my soul. I have no need to fear for I am a child of God. I will follow You until the end of time. When my days are numbered I will run to You. I will praise You for all eternity, for You are my God. I love You Lord.

Amos 1:9-12
9 Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, And did not remember the covenant of brotherhood.
10 But I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, Which shall devour its palaces.”
11 Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because he pursued his brother with the sword, And cast off all pity; His anger tore perpetually, And he kept his wrath forever.
12 But I will send a fire upon Teman, Which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.”
