Making TV An Idol
Have you made your TV, your idol? You have if more time is spent with it than with God. Repent now if you are found in idolatry.

Much like Moses parted the Red Sea, Elijah and Elisha parted the river Jordan in a similar fashion by the hand of the living God.
In the Bible, we have great examples of people in the faith who lived up to and kept God’s commandments and therefore, did not allow idolatry to be a part of their lives.
Truly, what David did was so wrong in not only my eyes, but the Lord’s also. It pains me just thinking about all those innocent lives that were killed by the sword.
So let’s now read a few verses that affirm our stance on abortion and homosexuality. First off being abortion, where God said, “be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth” (Genesis 1:28)
So the question is now, should believers have any reason to still covet? You may think not, but the answer here might surprise you, because we should. What? How can this be?
The act of Suicide is very sad indeed. Not only does this selfish act cause people to grieve, but also causes the same person that killed themself to grieve over their new condition when they wake up in hell.
The Catholic Church’s Ten Commandments is a modified version of Exodus 20. It is not the same thing, but a very slim down version of the real deal.
When it comes to our kids, they need to be onboard with obeying both of their parents and not just one. They should not be disobeying what one parent is saying and running to their other parent in disregard to his/her needs.
Does the Bible say anything about this suicide? Well, of course it does, my friends. If you were reading the Bible daily, you would get so much strength from God’s Word and be able to fight these feelings of despair and doubt.
The next part of God’s sanctuary was the courtyard, of which the altar was to be placed. This is the outer part of where the sanctuary stood.
God’s instructions continued with a vail. On the tabernacle of God was to be made “a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims.” (Exodus 26:31)
The covering to the ark was also very specific in how it would be made and appear. On top of the ark was to be made “a mercy seat of pure gold” (Exodus 25:17)
How awesome is our God! This story of God’s people being in God’s presence is amazing. However, it only gets better from here.
Our desires to help others in need is extended to our enemies as well. We go the extra mile, even though it may seem hard at first.
When it comes to witchcraft and idolatry, people should immediately know how wrong these things are, if they were familiar with the teachings of the Bible.
Allowing an evil act such as abortion comes with many consequences. This is doing what you think is right, though it goes against God’s will.
I mentioned what a Christian’s life is like and also incorporated each commandment into each statement above. I did this that you may distinguish what a true Christian is like from a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
I pray that you will heed what God told Moses, when he said, “go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes.” (Exodus 19:10)
Even people in the faith need to be told when they are a little off base on what they are doing or saying.
It was after the Lord rescued His children from starvation and dehydration, that a battle began among the camp of the children of Israel.
God helps His children in Israel and also His adopted children, through faith in Jesus Christ. We are all gathered into His fold and He is our Shepherd.
The children of Israel knew that the enemy wanted to take them down and destroy them, but their faith stood strong in the heat of the battle.
God is good and all powerful. Not only did He do a work for those in the Bible, but He is doing a work now, in every person’s life that believes in Jesus Christ for salvation.
When the children of Israel were led safely out of Egypt, they were given strict commands from God, in order to stand apart from the wicked and be on His side.
The day that the Lord God came in and sent His last plague upon the Egyptian people, the people of Israel were able to experience true freedom.
It doesn’t matter how mad or distant a person is with God, His will, will always be done. So it came time for God to warn the Pharaoh one last time.
Along with the story of the Pharaoh in the Bible, there are many other warnings from God now that speak to our lives.
It is true that when we fight against God, then there are consequences to our actions. There will be pain and sorrow throughout that person’s life.
In the story of Moses, the magicians tried to mimic all of God’s plagues upon the Egyptian people, however, it came to a point where they knew that it was God’s hand working these plagues.
