Those that walk in the ways of the Lord are blessed beyond measure. They are guided by the Holy Spirit and the light of Christ is within them. There is peace and joy in their hearts. The presence of God fulfills their lives. They are filled each day in God’s word. His words come to life as they read. They cannot get enough of His words. They lift up their souls with gladness. In prayer they find rest. God’s counsel gives them wisdom. Just to have His guidance is a wondrous gift to their lives. Psalm 1 reads, 1“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night”. All those that live for God are strengthened daily. There course is heaven for they have been made righteous by the blood of the Lamb. Jesus is their Savior and has made them white as snow. If you are not on God’s path, then repent and make things right today. Do not delay the day of your salvation. There are better days ahead of you if you choose to follow Jesus. This world will only offer a taste of happiness but God will deliver you eternal happiness. The lusts of the flesh will only bring death to the soul but God’s love will bring us newness of life. If you are walking in sin then judgement will be terrifying after death but if you are made clean through confession of your sins then it will be a magnificent time to be with Jesus. We have two choices to make, walk in the ways of the ungodly or walk in the ways of the Lord. 1“The ungodly shall perish”, but God’s chosen will be eternally blessed in the Kingdom of Heaven.

This life is short. Be grateful for everyday that the Lord gives you breath. If you have delayed your repentance be grateful that God has not shortened your life, in order to be saved. You could have been destined for hell, a long time ago, but the Lord has lengthened your days in order for you to turn from your wickedness and come to Him. Make this day, the day you deny yourself and follow Jesus. Let the Lord take all your burdens away. Let Him cut down your chains of addiction. Seek Him in words and deeds and He will do marvelous things in your life. You will be changed from death to life. His love will penetrate your soul like you never knew was possible. His fire will give you new direction and hope for a new day. Make this day a new day to follow Jesus. Seek Him often in prayer and Bible study. Meditate on His words and His laws. Listen to His counsel for your life. God surely knows best for each of us. His commandments are meant to draw us closer to Him. Love Him and His ways. Your fruit is laid up in heaven. His promises are fulfilled for those that love Him. Oh Lord, Your ways are just and true. Your judgement is righteous. You saved me from an eternal destruction in hell. I will never be so grateful for Your patience for me. I was utterly lost by the lusts of the flesh and had no way out until You came for me. Thank You for waiting on me for so long. You heard my cries and had mercy upon my soul. Thank You, for this second chance at life. Though my heart was once full of shame, You replaced it with Your love. I will never understand what You’ve done for me. I love Your ways. Your words delight my soul. I love You.

1Psalm 1:1-6 (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Proverbs 28:13 (KJV)
13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Isaiah 1:16-19 (KJV)
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

My life is dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus to the world. I love the Lord and want everyone to feel the same love. I would feel awful if I kept His joy to myself. For this I write daily devotionals to lead people to Christ. Jesus is the anchor of my soul.
