It was at this time that David found himself in a bad spot with his son and the people, but his heart continued with the Lord for safety and guidance.

Our lusts have consequences, where even other people are also affected. So get them under control with Jesus starting today.

People do crazy things when they are led by their own lust and not by God, as you saw from David’s life.
Jesus is our example of being loving and kind to everyone He came across. He even taught this concept to us when he said, “and as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
I have mentioned charity and kindness today, and will now describe a great example of a person who showed God’s love to an individual.
David also slew the Syrians in war, which were also against him, after sending out his men in “a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen.” (2 Samuel 8:4)
What is amazing is that those that people that believe in Jesus are also called the sons and daughters of God.
Now, if you thought that David stopped dancing and worshiping God after all this happened with the ark of the covenant, then you are mistaken.
We are to help those in need, not do harm to them. Also, as Christians, we are to live moral lives in the sight of God. God hates pornography, fornication, and adultery.
Rimmon and Rechab were punished by David’s men. That punishment, you can read in the following verses.
