God loves righteousness and hates wickedness. Wickedness equals not doing God’s will, but what the flesh wants.
God gives us the strength we need when people we love pass away. He also helps us mourn with those who are suffering.
Being rich isn’t the problem, it is when people love their wealth, and possessions, and have little to do with God because of it.
It is the love of money that causes many people to go astray and to seek after the things of the world instead of God.
The Bible teaches that women are to respect their husbands, as men love their wives. In so doing, we do this unto the Lord.
Those who are strong in the faith should help those that are weak. We please others without even asking for anything in return.
A few chapters back, Jesus helped us and his disciples back then know how to love Him. Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)
The story of David is like my own, for he fell into adultery, as did I. And with David, the Lord was able to help him flee from it, of which God did the same for me.
Although I am secure in Christ Jesus, I know that there are many other people that are also found within Him also.
Truly, money almost took me down the path of becoming divorced and even homeless, because of almost losing our home and all the stress in the marriage.
Our love for God becomes real, as we go out in the world and begin to light it up. We see those people that are in need and care for them.
Lord, Your ways are amazing and I cannot stop learning from Your Words in the Bible. You have taught me so much over these last few years and my mind has been officially blown by what I have found and learned.
When speaking of sin, I am not talking about falling into sin on occasion, but willfully doing something daily that God doesn’t approve of.
Now that you know what God hates and of which is an abomination to Him, it is important to respond to Him accordingly.
Do we have to live a life of sadness while in this life? The answer is no. However, many people do live like this and even cry themselves to sleep at night.
I pray that these same desires to follow Jesus is yours also. Getting to know Him through daily Bible study and prayer is very important to our souls.
With those that are in need of forgiveness, we give it freely as God responds the same way with each of us. How are we to act any differently when we are His disciples?
So what does it make a person that forgets God’s commandments and still says that they have faith in and know the Lord Jesus?
Now many years went by, but it wasn’t until today that God convicted me of my wrongs. It was while reading in Leviticus 25 that God spoke directly to my sins.
If there was one thing I wish all the world could know is that Jesus can change their lives. They may think that they don’t need Him, for they are content with what they know and have, but they are wrong.
When God’s love comes into our lives, our desires are flipped upside down. Instead of wanting so much, we instead give what we can.
When God’s love finally comes and rescues you, what you do with your time will dramatically change.
Even in the midst of the love that Solomon’s wife showed towards Solomon, there is someone greater that cares for each one of us. That person is God.
The more money a person has, also comes many foolish thoughts and decisions, if God is not involved.
The life we have been given from God is not meant to be dull but instead, full of life. If you think that being a Christian means not having fun in life, then you are mistaken.
We are incapable of loving as Christ does, but with Him in our lives, we gain the true capacity to love one another as He does.
It is better to pray and love on those that are mean to us, then have God’s wrath be upon us also. Jesus said, “bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.”
A big reason why most people deny the counsels of God is that they are lazy or simply OK with their lives.
Now, as the prodigal son was getting ready to go to his father, he said, I “am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.”
