The Lord Is My Light And I Love Him

Oh how I love the Lord. My heart is full of praise and it is all for the Lord Jesus, whom I love and adore. I rejoice just to know Him and to have Him in my life. All I have is because of God. His blessings have surely overflowed and I stand in awestruck wonder. What the Lord has done for me is greater than anything I have in my possession. His salvation has given me a life that is renewed. I have a hope that is far greater than anything I’ve ever known. This life is now complete for everything the Lord gives me is so beautiful. I cannot contain how great it is, nor write it all for you to know and understand. For what God has done for me cannot fully be explained. For I can tell people of my day and what He has done for me in the best way possible, but the next day is so different. The Lord’s love for me has no bounds. He reaches the very soul and brings us out of bondage and shame. He sees exactly where we are in life and helps us through it. When we feel afflicted, the Lord comes in and His peace overflows in our lives. When we pray and feel bad and wish that we could be forgiven, His mercy comes through. We are not left comfortless, for He always comes through when we need Him. What is so awesome is that when we repent, the Lord doesn’t just forgive us but helps break the chains of addiction and sin. We are not left trying to remove the darkness from our lives, for the Lord comes in and scatters it. You can be assured that with the Lord in our lives, there is no darkness but only light. And with light, there is guidance and direction. We can then walk with His light all around us, which will impact everyone we know. Once people see the difference God has made for your life, they won’t help but ask questions. Your example will plant many seeds in people’s hearts. Some of them may even turn their whole life around for God, because of your desire to have faith and live it out fully. This is a promise from God. 1Shine your light for all to see. The Lord is anxious to use you.

If there was one thing I wish all the world could know is that Jesus can change their lives. They may think that they don’t need Him, for they are content with what they know and have, but they are wrong. I thought that I was fine for many years. What I had in the world was giving me pleasure and I felt great. It wasn’t until I realized that this pleasure did not last but only gave me lasting shame that I wanted out. I was tired of living a life that constantly was looking for the next best thing to make me happy. I was sick of trying to feed the flesh with things I knew were wrong. Those temporary pleasures never outlasted the bondage I put myself in. Each one of you know what your weakness is. I do as well. Porn was mine. And even though I am still tempted to look at it, I am able to resist because the Lord God is on my side. 2I have put on His armor and the shield of faith. Now I am able to deflect the fiery darts of Satan. However, it is when I forget God, stop reading the Bible and praying, is when I find myself under so much pressure and I eventually cave in to sin. Know that to not walk with God is putting your life in danger. You do not want to allow Satan a way back in, for it may be harder to escape the next time. So, if you are still under the bondage of sin and feel the shame in your life now, come unto Jesus today. You may not see the Lord God as I do now but when He comes into Your life it is game over, for your life will never be the same again. Then it will become clear how merciful, forgiving, and loving our God is. Once He washes You from every sin, through His blood, You will see His compassion for Your life. Your life may be a mess now but all is restored with God in your life. There is nothing He will not forgive. His arms are open for everyone. Come forth and be a part of a life that is redeemed through Christ the Lord. You will not regret this decision. Once God comes into your life, everything will be different. His light will shine bright and guide every step of the way.

Let us pray:
I am Yours, Lord. Have Your way inside of me. There is no other place I’d rather be, than to be in Your presence. You bring safety and security to my life. I am no longer walking with shame but courage that You bring to my life. I am ever able to do what is right, for You are my guide. It is when I do not do my part is when I make bad decisions that I regret. You are my safety net, but without You, I am left swimming upstream and have no way out. Lead me from temptation that I may be strong to resist. Build me up in Your armor that my faith will be grow stronger each day. You are my rock and my fortress, nothing can take me down with You in my life. All the darkness is scattered with Your light. The blindness has been taken from my eyes, that I may see the darkness of this world and no longer be a partaker of its wickedness. You have led me on a path of righteousness and I do not wish to quench the Spirit that is in me. So keep me sober and always looking to You in faith. And to those that are coming around to You now, may they be fully changed and brought into Your fold today. Help them find other Christians that will help them throughout their lives. But in all things, may they look to You for knowledge and guidance. Your words in the Bible are a lamp unto my feet and I know that anyone that truly reads Your words will find wisdom and know the way. And may they pray always and never allow the Spirit to leave them. It is priceless and something I never wish to lose. I love You Lord. You are the way and I will seek You all the days of my life. Amen.
