Life Filled With Uncertainty And Doubt

“I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me. How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.” (Psalm 119:102-104)

In our journey in life, we often encounter moments of uncertainty and doubt. We question our decisions and the path we have chosen to take. They then take what they see as a better path that is free from the mischief of their past. They believe they learned from the past and are now ready for the next chapter in their lives. It is too bad that only a few of them choose to know God and follow Him instead. Everything changes when a person comes to know God and embraces His wisdom on a daily basis. There is a sense of security and guidance that surpasses all understanding. There is a transformative power that comes into our lives also. When we immerse ourselves in God’s Word, we are enlightened with divine knowledge and understanding. It becomes clear that His judgments are righteous and true. The Bible serves as a compass in a world filled with moral ambiguity.

There is a profound sweetness found in God’s words. It represents the joy and satisfaction that can only come from aligning ourselves with His wisdom. This comes when we meditate on God’s Word, and He begins to enlighten our minds on what it means for our lives. This wisdom or taste lingers on our lips long after we have finished reading the verse. We are left craving more of God’s truth the next time around. Nothing can compare to the depth and richness found within the pages of the Bible. It quiets our doubts, lifts our spirits, and nourishes our souls. It changes everything about how we live our lives. May you begin to cherish God’s words and let them guide your lives if you haven’t already. There is a real existence filled with purpose and divine wisdom from God. Lastly, have you ever experienced the sweetness of God’s truths? Think about this message and what you have learned from God. Amen.
