We are called to God to 1 Trust in the Lord, 2 Do good, 3 Delight in the Lord, and 4 Commit our ways unto the Lord. By doing this, here are our rewards from God. 1 Dwell in the land with God’s presence with us, 2 Be fed and gain much insight from God, 3 Give us the desires of our hearts, and 4 God will bring things to pass in our lives. David taught this as we read Psalm 37. And I quote, “trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37:3-5) Do the four things I just mentioned and God will reward you immensely. True faith is alive. God does so much in the lives of those who love Him. Our faith in Jesus saves us. This same faith leads us to live for Him on a daily basis. This is when gifts of the Spirit come into play in our lives. Us learning to trust in God and commit our lives to Him is what brings us into His kingdom.
Our callings from God continues. He calls us to 5 Rest in the Lord, 6 Wait patiently on the Lord, 7 Not worry about others who prosper, 8 Not worry about wicked people who are successful and healthy, 9 Cease from anger, 10 Stop doing things that are knowingly evil. By doing God’s will, He can then work in our lives in this way. 1 God showcases His righteousness in us as light, 2 Our righteous judgments are made known. David spoke on all this in the following verses, “and he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.” (Psalm 37:6-8) Ponder upon these verses and live for God like never before. He will bring you places you’ve never been before. He will do things in your life you never thought were possible God is so good to those who love Him. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people would trust in and delight in You so much as to commit their lives to follow You. Then can we do good in this life. On our own efforts, we are incapable of doing things that are heavenly on earth, but through theSpirit, we can do all things in your kingdom. I am only one person in a billion who call themselves your servant, and am so grateful You are doing a work in my life. I can also see that millions of people are saved, which is so amazing in every fashion of the word. Truly, You are going after the one in the ninety-and-nine among the billions of lost souls. I am one of those wretched sinners that You have brought out of darkness and into Your bounteous light. I give You glory, Father. I give You glory, Jesus. I give You glory, Holy Spirit. Three in one, do I praise and give all the glory, and uttermost respect. Lord, set a revival in people’s lives. This way more people will share the truths of the gospel with more people. I believe in You, Jesus. I trust in You, God. I love You, Lord. Amen.
