A thing that is common among false prophets is their willingness to change the Bible in order for it to conform to their false beliefs. This is the case with Mormonism. It is sad when I see the Book of Isaiah plagiarized in dozens of Book of Mormon chapters as fillers to an already small book. It is like they have no backbone and no care for God and His holy words. Even the verses in Isaiah, chapter 6 is speaking of Isaiah saying “Here am I, send me” and they twist this. Isaiah wrote, “8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. 9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. 11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, 12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.” (Isaiah 6:8-12) Praise God for His pure words.
Mormons have changed what we read above and make people believe it is speaking of a pre-existence. When Jesus and Lucifer both present their plans and say “Here am I, send me”. This is ridiculous, but still we see this as taught in their church as core doctrine. Now, notice the plagiarism and additions in bold in the same verses of Isaiah in the book of Mormon. “8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: Here am I; send me. 9 And he said: Go and tell this people — Hear ye indeed, but they understood not; and see ye indeed, but they perceived not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes — lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted and be healed. 11 Then said I: Lord, how long? And he said: Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate; 12 And the Lord have removed men far away, for there shall be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.” (2 Nephi 16:8-12) We even see LORD changed to Lord, which is so crazy. Enough is enough, Joseph Smith is being called out as a false prophet.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people’s hearts will be turned to You. That more people will stop giving themselves over to every sound of doctrine that appears good on paper, but what the Bible says is true. God, help people come to the light. Scatter the darkness and the strongholds on people’s lives. May people learn what is true and unlearn what is false. I pray that this doesn’t have to be a chore or come with any resistance. If people just knew what they were doing, they would gladly give up many things for the sake of following You, Jesus. Heaven is where most people want to go, but giving up what is comfortable in people’s lives is like life or death to them. Will they say this when they die and wake up in hell? Absolutely not. I can just imagine the regrets that people will have on that day. We will all come before You, Jesus, in judgment, but only a few people will be waiting in paradise, while most people will be suffering. Lord, I pray that You will spark fear when it comes to sinning against You and Your awesome site. Then, will people learn to fear You, God, and stop willfully sinning. You are the God of patience and opportunities galore. Thank You for never giving up on me and others. I love You. Amen.
