We have all done foolish things in this life. Many things that we wish to forget but cannot for some reason or not. We acknowledge those sins before God and know that we are wretched when we fall and do things that the Lord, our God, hates. He can see that we were foolish in falling for temptation, but will do all He can do to build us up in the faith if we just let Him. However, some foolish people hate God and He knows it. He calls these atheists fools in thinking there is no God. Seriously? Looking all around us and at the creation, it cries out that there is a creator. The question is, can we have a painting without a painter? No. And can we have the first human without a creator? No. David wrote, “the fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” (Psalm 14:1-3)
Atheists are foolish because of their unbelief, but we are as foolish as them when we willfully sin against God. Sin is sin and God hates it when we justify our sinful deeds. He also hates it when we sin in secret and justify them over time also. God requires immediate confessions, or else we may be stuck in our addiction or bad habits for a very long time. Here is the truth, every evildoer is also lacking knowledge from God. This is because they do not call upon God and His wisdom is not for them. Although some looked down upon us because of our beliefs, we are alive in the Lord, who is our refuge. David wrote, “have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord. There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.” (Psalm 14:4-6) And now it is our time to wake up to our sins. We have all gone astray and it is now to get right with God. Are you ready? I am. I could die tomorrow, so today I live for Jesus. Amen.

Oh Lord, hear our cries. We acknowledge our sins before You and know that we are capable of not sinning only when Your presence is with us. Our flesh is weak and there is no one good, But You, God. If we are different, You are leading us. Otherwise, we are no different than any other person in this world. Truly, straight is the gate that leads to heaven, but broad is the way that leads to destruction. So I pray that more people will get off this broad path and come to know You as their Lord, and Savior. If People acknowledged their sins and their need to be saved, then life would be different. You could use them for Your glory. Your kingdom is so vast upon this earth. Even Your harvest is white, but few are Your workers therein. I know that Your kingdom is in us, but only a few have made it become this way. Your temple is also in us, but so many people destroy it with their junk, sexual immorality, drunkenness, and so much more filth. Lord, help us. This wicked lifestyle s being pushed upon our children. Protect us, God. We need You every minute of our lives. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
