One of the biggest contradictions in the Book of Mormon, compared to the Bible, comes from 2 Nephi, chapter 5. Read the following verses yourself and you will know how the God of Mormonism is very racist. It is written, “wherefore, the word of the Lord was fulfilled which he spake unto me, saying that: Inasmuch as they will not hearken unto thy words they shall be cut off from the presence of the Lord. And behold, they were cut off from his presence. And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them. And thus saith the Lord God: I will cause that they shall be loathsome unto thy people, save they shall repent of their iniquities.” (2 Nephi 5:20-22) So black people are wicked in the Mormon God’s sight? Wow!
This is in contrast to a God of the Bible who doesn’t care about our skin color, for what is inward is what matters. He is not a respecter of persons, meaning that every person of every race is important in His sight. It is written, “but the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7) “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” (Acts 10:34,35) “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28) Surely, the God of the Bible is not racist, unlike the God of Mormonism. Therefore, I pray that you have looked at this contradiction in the Book of Mormon and now understand how Mormonism is false.
Here is the truth, my friends. Mormonism is from the pit of hell. If I was part of that cult, I would run as fast as I could in the opposite direction. Only then can Jesus save these lost souls from dying and going to hell. This is not something that people want to hear, but it must be said nonetheless. Sharing this message and others on Mormonism are not hear to judge wrongfully, but to judge with righteous judgment. Let me ask you a question. If you saw someone in a burning house, would you just allow them to suffer and die in it, or do all you can to save them from the flames? This is exactly what God has called me to do. Mormons are on the path of destruction and leading them off that path to Jesus is the least I can do. I do this out of love for every person in this false religion. If you have been one of those people who have been saved from the fire of hell and are now following Jesus alone for salvation, praise God. The Lord Jesus is worthy of our praise. Thank Him this day for saving you and for leading you on the path to heaven. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that You will help me and other Christians reach Mormons with the true gospel message from the Bible. Give us words to speak, that what is necessary to reach each one of them will be spoken in that moment and hour. I have many family members and even friends in this cult and I worry about their safety come death. Lord, I don’t wish for anyone to die and wake up in hell. This is especially true for people who believed they were very religious. It would shock them to know that what they did on earth was not enough for salvation. But the truth is, God, You have said that many will say in that day, didn’t I cast out demons and do all these things in Your Name, and You will say, I never knew you, depart from me. I would never wish to hear these words, especially from You, Lord. You mean everything to me, Jesus. This life is better because You are a part of it. God, I am grateful for the day I turned down the things of this flesh, even a life of comfort while in a cult, all for Your sake. My life has not been the same since. You have saved a wretch like me and I am so grateful. I give You praise and honor. I love you, Lord. Amen.
