Year: 2019

Oh Lord, watch over us and protect us from the enemy. Don't allow Satan to get the upper hand in our lives. We would rather walk in Your light, then to find darkness in our lives once again. And this day, we give all our impure thoughts over to You. And if we have slipped up and given our hearts and minds over to such evil thoughts, we are sorry. Please forgive us for falling flat on our faces. It is our desire to follow You and to find victory over the enemy. So fight the fight with us, that we may be shielded, because of our faith in You. May Your words always be in our hearts, that it may lead us to do things that are pleasing in Your sight. And we come to You in prayer because we love You more than anything. The flesh is just an obstacle, sometimes, to going all-in for you. For that reason, take away anything in our lives that You disapprove of. Even the things we give our eyes over to in TV, movies and video games. We are willing to give up watching and playing anything that doesn't agree with Your standards. And with our music tastes, conform them to Yours, that we may be edified in the music we listen to and the TV we watch. And help us manage our time better. There is a time and a place for family time, but it is better to be serving You. So help us know when to stop what we are doing so that we can pray, read the Bible, or just go out and be used by You in ministry. We love You more than what the enemy and the world can offer. I've found joy that lasts, while in your presence. The best part is that I have no guilt when I am with You. Thank You, Lord. I trust in You. Amen.

John 10:9-11 (KJV)
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Oh Lord, I pray that people will not only make room for You in their everyday life, but long to do Your will above all else. There was a time that I fit You in my day, along with my own desires, but really Your will was not performed. Sure, I got some things out of the Bible and prayer, but really I was not made alive yet. It was then that You put it on my heart to put aside things in my life that do not glorify You. So You helped me give up watching the shows of this world, while helping me stop video games. Surely, the things that I was giving my eyes over to was not for You and was only leading me away from You, while giving me impure thoughts in the meantime. Looking back, I do not miss the action-packed movies on TV, and even the comedy shows, for they were always so crude and dishonored You through making killing and immodesty seem ok. So thank You, Lord, for delivering me from my video game and movie collection addiction. I used to think that having the best movies and games on Steam was going to make me happy, but again, it only led to much guilt and shame, because of how it made me feel on the inside. Those games often made me get angry and I would even blow up at those I love, while also giving me over to impure thoughts. Only You could change a person like this. So thank You again for freeing me from the bondage of sin. In Your presence, I've found freedom from the addiction of TV, movies, and video games. I don't need them anymore, but only more of You. Only You can fill me up with the joy I need, and give me over to the best things in life. I love You, Lord. Amen.

Romans 12:1-3 (KJV)
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Oh Lord, I am grateful for this Christmas day. It is a wonderful day to celebrate Your birth. Though it is always an honor to think of You throughout the year, this time is so good, in that it is set apart to honor You and Your glorious birth. Thank You for coming down to redeem us from the laws of Moses. Those laws were heavy and often caused people to fall into sin and slavery. So You came and fulfilled them with the cross, of which You bore the sins of the world. Thank You for caring so much for us all, as to be the Lamb of God who paid the payment for sins, once and for all. Therefore, our faithfulness to You is what saves us now. I declare this in prayer, for I want all people to know that only You can save us. It is our faith that makes our lives whole. You are able to take the life that we are in now and help us turn from our sins, through repentance, because of our belief that moves us. I love You, Lord. You are the Savior of all. All things are possible because You came down to earth and did what we could not. No more am I on a path that leads to destruction, sadness, guilt, shame, and regret, for You are at the head of my life. I am now found joy, peace, happiness, love, and forgiveness. Thank You for leading me out of temptation and into a much better life, that loves and honors You while loving my neighbor as myself. I trust in You, God, to lead my life and to help me walk uprightly in Your sight. All I want to do is please You and do what You say. Amen.

Galatians 4:4-7 (KJV)
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Oh Lord, oh how I adore You. You are Lord of all and I worship You. It is because of You, Jesus, that I have joy in my life. Even when sadness comes into my life, You are there to carry me and give me rest. I am at peace just thinking of Your bounteous blessings for my life. I surely don't deserve Your great love for me, but still You love me more than anyone else has and ever will. I want the world to know that I believe In You for salvation. For in myself alone am I nothing. Only through Your hands am I made strong. I am grateful to have You in my life. Everything makes sense because You are there. You have given me eyes to see, and now I can see what is of the world and what is for You. And my decision is to live a life that honors You and not my own flesh any longer. I am done with all the guilt and shame in my life, because of willful sin, and give it all to You. It is much better to live in Your freedom, then to live in doubt and fear. It is surely amazing to find the answers I've been waiting for, just because I called upon Your Name, Jesus. You are my Redeemer and the Savior of all. Thank You for coming down and being born, that we might be rescued from our sins. You had a choice to make and it was to sacrifice Yourself for the sins of the world, and You did it gladly. Surely, You are the Lamb of God, who took away the sins of the world. I love and honor You. Allow Your light to shine in my life, that many people's lives will be blessed. Because I have been given much, I can now give to others in need also. So lead me to those that are less fortunate and I will do as You command. I trust in You. Amen.
