I pray that your heart is all in it for Jesus. When you are hurting inside, give it all to God. Cry out to Him in earnest prayer. Don’t try to bear the burdens of this life on your own. Pray as David did, 1“Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.” When you are feeling down or depressed because of the hardships of life, pray for comfort. Ask for direction from the Lord. Ask Him to help you stay true to His Words when persecution comes. Even when people 1“speak mischievous things” about us 1“and imagine deceits all the day long,” ask for strength to bear it. The Lord can help us come out of the most awful circumstances. We can go through a trial but also be even stronger in the faith because of it. It all comes down to letting Jesus take the wheel when we need it most. If you continue to remember the Lord at all times of your lives, you will be richly blessed. Even in temptation, you won’t have to resist in on your own. The Holy Spirit will be a shield in your life and a great protector. David prayed, 1“in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.” When he wasn’t living a life for Jesus, he wanted to make it right. For this he prayed, 1“I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me. or I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.” He didn’t want to 1“render evil for good” but 1“follow the thing that good is”.
All of my desire is to follow Jesus. I will go wherever He leads me. I will do what He says, no matter what befalls me. I will walk the line for my Savior. He is worth living for. My life is strengthened every day that I follow Him. The Lord is my Shepherd and my strength. Who shall I fear when He is with me. I can do all things for Jesus loves me. His will is stronger than anything on this earth. He even has the power to break the bands of addiction. We are free indeed in Christ the Lord. So many years I was in sin. I was living in a life that I thought would bring me joy for moments at a time but, in the end, all it did was bring me sadness. The guilt that came over me was greater than all the joy I had ever felt in my lustful passions. In the moments of my brief satisfaction, I was making evil appear good, though it was all filth. The addiction had me in its grasps that I could not escape. The slightest thing would trigger me to come back to it. Only Jesus could free me from these bonds. I was helpless to temptation. In prayer, I confessed my sins and asked for forgiveness. I asked for His help to break free of my sexual sin. I told Jesus, that I couldn’t do it alone. What then happened was amazing. The presence of God came over me. It was His power that broke the chains of sin and helped me to look past my own wants and to others. God’s love rushed into my soul and changed me from within. I was truly forgiven and made righteous in His presence. Praise the Lord.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, give me courage to live a life fully for You. Help me avoid all obstacles of the evil one. If I am living in sin, make it known to me. I do not want to justify my actions before You. I only want to live in Your goodness. I trust in You to lead and guide me. My hope is in You. I know that You will hear me, when I cry out to Your Name. I know that You care for me and my future as you care for all mankind. I pray that anyone living in sin, will give it all to You. As they confess their sins, give them a fire in their heart to follow You. Lord, You know I need You. I need Your help in times of need. I need You in times of happiness and joy. I need You always. I am forever joyful in Your presence. You breath light to my soul. I am made whole in Your presence. I love You. Amen.

14 Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
15 For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
21 Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me.
22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
