The Lord has done such great things for my life, recently, that I will never be able to explain. He has led me to so many people to share His gospel with. All it took was faith that He would open people’s hearts and He did it. The Lord Jesus listened to my prayers. Thank You Lord. He has lit a fire in my soul that I cannot hide. All I desire is to serve Him. The day I committed my life to Jesus, everything changed. My passion to witness and to do His will was increased. My desire to go out and preach was made manifest. Even tonight, the Lord was able to use my boldness to speak His words. As I walked with Keven, in downtown Boise, I was encouraged just to open my mouth and it would be filled. All I had to do was trust in God fully and the words would come to me. So before I got to the spot to preach I saw this young homeless couple, on the side of the road. After giving them food and hearing them talk about their difficulties and his struggle with cancer, we lifted them up in prayer. We prayed that God would heal his heart and his body. We prayed that they might find a place to stay and be comforted. We left them encouraged to seek the Lord often in prayer. No struggle is big enough to keep to ourselves. Give it all to the Lord and He will do great things for our lives. So then we made our way to a central place where people could hear the Word of God. There were firemen around me that could also hear it. I then opened up the Bible and started reading in John, chapter 3. As I preached from the Word, the Spirit came over me and helped me emphasize the importance of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation. Only through Him can we be born again. Nothing we can ever do can merit us from inheriting the kingdom of God but what the Lord can do inside of us. I taught that only those that make Jesus the king of their lives are saved. Only He can save us and give us new life with abundance of light.
Jesus taught, 1“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The lives we are living outside of Christ will never save us. All joy without the Lord will one day come to an end. We must put aside our fleshly lusts aside and let Jesus transform us to walk in His Spirit. Jesus continued, 1“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” There is a new beginning for every believer when Jesus does a work inside of them. All it takes is trust in Him to walk differently than before. Jesus taught, 1“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” We have true freedom from sin through Jesus Christ. 1Jesus said that He was to be lifted up on the cross that we might be forgiven. This is so important for our salvation. There is no other way to heaven but through Him. As I ended my teachings, I read the following, 1“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” We have a chance now to believe in Jesus and be saved. Time could be running out. It is so important that we commit our lives now to Jesus before death. As I preached, this young lady came up to me. She told me that she had fallen off the path but wanted to know how to come back. So I encouraged her to pray but I found out there was one missing link. She hadn’t been reading the Bible. To this, I gave her one and encouraged her to get into the Word daily. It is God’s words that will help her get back on His path. She left encouraged to follow Jesus. Praise the Lord. What a wonderful night. Indeed, this was a night to celebrate and give thanks to God for all the seeds that were planted in people’s hearts.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, thank You for being there with me tonight, as I spoke. You gave me encouragement to witness for Your Name and You delivered when I needed You most. My trust in You did not disappoint for You were there right with me. I know I could never have such words to speak but You spoke right through me and helped fill my mouth with Your words. I cannot do such great things without You, Jesus. I pray for the people that were prayed over that they might find peace and rest in times of trials. I pray for the people that heard the Word of God. May they remember Your teachings in John, chapter 3. May the lost understand the need to follow You. Those that listened and were pierced by Your words, come to them and speak to their hearts. Do the rest, oh Lord. Bring them into Your fold. Thank You for this harvest. I delight in serving You. You are my God and my King. I praise Your Holy Name. I love You. Amen.
