The Lord is good. He surely can do amazing things through us. I am only a lowly servant of God and He has used me to do great things. How grateful I am to serve Him. A group of us had been praying for what to say at a Mormon Church and he delivered to my ears two things. Those are, Testify and the Bible. Each time I prayed I knew He desired for me to make His Name be known and the Bible to be proclaimed. So as we got to the Mormon Church, in street clothes, we sat near the middle front row. It was fast and testimony meeting (first Sunday of the month) and anyone could go up to the pulpit and bear their testimony. My heart raced as I sat down, waiting for my turn to get up. I could feel the Lord pulling at my heart to get up on my feet. First, Joan got up and testified of how Jesus forgave her sins at a Bible study. She declared the greatness of the cross of Jesus and His mercy. That God can forgive each of us today. Once she got down, I waited for one more person and then I got up. As I opened my mouth I declared, “God is so good, isn’t He? Praise the Lord.” 3I then declared the gospel. That Jesus died for our sins on the cross and then rose from the dead, three days later. That when we honor Him, we honor the Father. That David worshiped and praised the Lord and so should we. The importance of praising the Lord is made manifest. I also testified of the Bible, through the power of the Spirit. I proclaimed that it is the Word of God. I asked them to not let the world tie them down and take their precious time away from God. But to prioritize Him and study His words. After speaking to the crowd, all proclaimed, “Amen”. I then went back to the bench where we were sitting. Patrick then got up and testified of Jesus. That He is Lord and then sat down.
As the service got over, many people came to speak to us. They said, how grateful they were for us coming. They asked where we came from and we said Boise. It was a pleasure to speak to them, this day. After we left, we then went to a Christian church service. That was so uplifting. We then ate lunch and proceeded to go to downtown Salt Lake City, to Temple Square, to evangelize. Once we got there, we split up in two groups (guys in one group and girls in another). Patrick and I went to the gates of Temple Square and spoke to a homeless man, while Kevin passed out tracts. This man was going through a lot of trials after losing his job and now having kidney stones. He also didn’t have any food so I got him chips. As we were with Him we told him we’d pray for his job situation and that his stones would pass. 3We then talked to him about the gospel of Jesus. Patrick told him that no matter the life we’ve lived God will forgive us. For both of us are examples of His mercy and grace. Patrick, once being a drug addict and me, once being a porn addict. God freed us both from these additions. 2We testified that anyone that confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord of their life will be saved. 1All he needed to do was heed God’s words and believe. We explained that giving our life to Jesus is for salvation. This we asked of him but he couldn’t do it out loud since he only prayed in private. So instead, we each prayed that His heart would be opened to the gospel message. That He would give his heart over to Jesus freely. Before we left, I told him I’d keep him in my prayers, while Patrick went back to him. He declared that our time is short. That Jesus could come tomorrow. We must be ready to receive Him or be found unworthy in His presence. Patrick and I then split up as he went home with his wife.
Kevin and I were left and we decided to walk the streets and pray for people. So as we walked we met two older men. One was Mormon and the other was an atheist. To the atheist we taught that God is real and that He loves us all so much. It was His love for all mankind that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins. The other gentleman was listening and said he’d talk to him once we left. To that man we discussed the importance of the cross. That Jesus paid for our sins there according to the Bible and not Gethsemane. We asked him to read the Bible more often and let His words abide in his heart. We then left and spoke to this young boy, who was a Mormon, and his mother. He was talking about Joseph Smith and we mentioned that only Jesus saves. That He is Lord and most important for our salvation. I warned that there are false teachings in the Mormon Church and for him to be open to the truth of the gospel. He openly accepted what we said and said thank you, as they both left. As we rounded the street corner, we stumbled upon a young man, who was sitting down. He was about to help his sister move. Before they did so we talked about Jesus and only those that follow Him can be saved. Before we could pray for him he needed to help his sister so we also joined in. After the move was done, we told them that we loved him and his sister and that God does as well. After speaking with Him, there was another gentleman sitting down by him. We went and asked if we could pray for him and he got super excited. He said, “of course”. He had just lost his job and knew God would answer his prayers. So we prayed for him and God’s spirit was round about us. We were encouraged by his faith in prayer.
Let us pray:
Thank You Lord or using us this day. Many seeds were planted. It was all because of You, Lord. We love You. Amen.
Let us read the Bible:

1John 5:19-24 (KJV)
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
2Romans 10:9-13 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
31 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
