God’s Gifts For Us

The Lord does great things for those that love Him. He moves inside of people’s lives and they are blessed abundantly. 2He even blesses people with new talents, that they never knew they had before. Things that they may have thought they were incapable of, they are now able to do with the Lord’s help. Never doubt what you can and cannot do with the Lord in your life. He is able to make weak things strong. 3Our own talents we had before the Lord can be great but the gifts of the Holy Spirit are greater. What God can do in our lives are life changing. Not only are our lives changed but others around us. When God is able to do such great things we can’t help but be joyful. We are like David, when he said, 1“When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.” As you learned from David, our joy is also when others that discover God.

If God has come into your life, then speak of your gladness. There is joy in the Lord and if you live for Him, then you have felt it. Will you not tell others? God wills us to share the great things He is doing in our lives with others. How can we gain God’s talents, unless we first are willing to be used by Him? 3God’s gifts are here to not only help ourselves grow in the faith but others, as well. Some of you may have the gift of healing, doing miracles, prophesying, discerning of spirits, speaking of tongues, or interpreting tongues. These things are done by the work of the Holy Spirit. No matter what gift we have, we are all one in Christ Jesus. God has granted to me the heart of an evangelist. I am able to pray over people and heal them, by the Holy Spirit. God has given me boldness to share His gospel. My hope and prayer is that you allow the Lord to work inside your life. Give your heart over to God and He will do great and marvelous things in your life. Trust in the Lord and nothing that God wills can be stopped.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, thank You for Your gifts in my life. I am grateful to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. I pray that I may always be used to do Your will. As I pray over people, I know that You are there with me. You are the one that does the healing. You are the one that brings peace into people’s lives. Thank You for using me, oh Lord. I am Your willing vessel. Have Your way inside of me. I pray that others within the faith, desire to be used by You, as well. Help them come out of their shell and seek after the Holy Spirit, in their life. May you empower them and use them in Your harvest. I know that You can do all things. Only You could do such marvelous things in our lives. I trust in You, Jesus. I love You. Amen.

2Matthew 25:14-30 (KJV)
14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
