There are days when life feels out of control. It feels like things are out of our reach. The pain and sorrows we are feeling inside are unbearable. We are alone and weak. We wonder how we will ever get through it. Our heart longs for relief. In these times it is so important to come to God in prayer. We need to put our trust in Him. For God knows the anguish we are feeling inside. He is the Father of all mercy and comfort. Once we come to Him with a broken heart He will lift our load. We will find strength to get through hard times. We will find peace. We will start to break free from our doubts and fears the more we seek the Lord. Come to the Lord with a broken heart. Let Him help carry your burdens. As you feel comfort from God seek to comfort others.
When you feel alone, He knows. When you feel undone, He knows. When you break down in tears, He knows. On the cross, Jesus felt all our pains. He knows every sting we feel inside. He felt every sickness that we bear. He knows life can be difficult but will take away our worries each time we come to Him. We will have to endure these kinds of trials throughout our life but He doesn’t expect us to do it on our own. He will give us strength each time we seek Him. Our burdens will be made light as we trust in Him. The more we seek God we will find hope. Oh God, I will call upon You in life’s trials. When I feel troubled I will come to You. I will stay steadfast in my faith. I know You have all power. My trust is in You. I will seek others who are hurting and give them comfort.
2 Corinthians 1:3-7
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.
