• The Bible = Original • “Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.” (Isaiah 54:1-4) – About 700–681 B.C.
• The Book Of Mormon = Plagiarism • “And then shall that which is written come to pass: Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child; for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thy habitations; spare not, lengthen thy cords and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left, and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. The King James Version of Isaiah, chapter 54, was copied and pasted into the Book of Mormon. This chapter of Isaiah can be found in 3 Nephi, chapter 22. The book of Isaiah and 3 Nephi are also available to read in the next chapters of this book. Details of what took place can be found below…
When comparing verses from the Bible with verses in the Book of Mormon we see vast amounts of contradictions and plagiarism. Just one example comes from Isaiah, chapter 54. This chapter was copied and pasted in a book called 3 Nephi. Chapter 22 is that reference in 3 Nephi. In so doing, an additional sentence was added to the verses in Isaiah. But let's first look at the pure form of the chapter in Isaiah. It is written, “sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.” (Isaiah 54:1-4)
Let us now see what has been added to the verses in Isaiah, chapter 54, as we look at 3 Nephi, chapter 22. It is written, “and then shall that which is written come to pass: Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child; for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed; neither be thou confounded, for thou shalt not be put to shame; for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.” (3 Nephi 22:1-4) This is what we call plagiarism at its finest. For Joseph Smith to change what God has said in the Bible, this has brought His wrath down upon him. Now, millions of people are led astray. Amen.
Let us pray: Oh Lord, I pray that people will press in to know You. So many people are seeking You in all the wrong places. Some think it is through going to church each week, listening to a prophet speak, and trying to be a good person will save them. These people are missing out on a personal relationship with You, Jesus. This is what saves us, not religion, people, or our own good works. You paid the price for our sins, God, and to press into what You’ve done is what we need. Only then will people be changed and no longer live a life they hope is right, but what they know is. I am so grateful, God, to finally understand what it means to please You. There is no more trying to do good, for the Holy Spirit is my guide. I will go wherever You lead me. Thank You for the people I've talked to while knocking on doors. Time as flown by in an instant as I dedicated myself to serving You during the harvest. It was eye-opening to see so many people who are lost and do not even realize it. They think they know and believe in You, but their heart is not for You. It saddens me to hear people say that You are their Lord and Savior, but hardly ever read the Bible. Open their eyes, God. I believe in You. I love You. Amen.
