God is the deliverer to those who need Him. In our tears and confessions to God, He comes to our rescue and gives us peace that is beyond our understanding. Our feet may fail us, as we fall into diverse temptations and sin, but with the Lord in our lives we are kept upright lest we fall into the traps of the evil one. David also said, “for thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling” (Psalm 116:8) If you love the Lord, then listen to Jesus and come unto Him completely for salvation. Don’t delay this free gift of grace. Take from God’s hands what He desires to give you and use it for His glory. Remember to call upon the name of the Lord, Jesus, for He is worthy to save us from our sins and also cleanse us from all iniquity. “What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.” (Psalm 116:12,13)
David also said, “I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.” (Psalm 116:14-16) Just like I’ve made vows to my wife to stay true to her throughout my life and until death, I also make a vow that extends into eternity with the Lord. I will stay firm in my faith in Jesus till death and in life in the next. It is even my desire to die for the Lord if needed. In life, I am God’s humble servant, willing to do anything He desires through me. Jesus has changed my life and to offer my life to Him in exchange is the least I can do. To love others as He loves me is the least I can do. To forgive one another as He gives me is the least I can do also. To live for Christ is our gain, but to die in our sins is our loss. Jesus is enough. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray that more people will be delivered from the bondage of sin and death. No matter where we are in life, there is still time to be saved. I wish that every person could hear my voice and know that they can find true safety with You, Jesus. Without You in our lives, there is much sorrow and regret, but with You, there is peace and much joy. Pain is what we all experience in life, but because You are with me, I am comforted in those times and know that the pain will one day cease in the next life. Thankfully, my soul will rest in paradise when all is set and done. I can’t wait till You come and wipe away all the tears from my eyes, where there will be no more pain or sorrow. Lord, my body is aging, but that just means I am that much closer to being with You forever on the new earth and heaven. God, take my hands and lead me straightway on Your narrow path that leads to eternal life. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
