Mormons don’t believe in original sin. Instead, it is taught that Adam was fully forgiven by God, and therefore, people bring sin into their own lives, not from another person. They even spread a false lie through their fictional book Moses and say that Christians are lying to people about original sin. Read for yourself first in their second article of faith and then in their book of Moses. They read, “we believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.” (The Articles Of Faith) Here they deny original sin from Adam. “And our father Adam spake unto the Lord, and said: Why is it that men must repent and be baptized in water? And the Lord said unto Adam: Behold I have forgiven thee thy transgression in the Garden of Eden. Hence came the saying abroad among the people, that the Son of God hath atoned for original guilt, wherein the sins of the parents cannot be answered upon the heads of the children, for they are whole from the foundation of the world.” (Moses 6:53,54) Here, we see their book spreading false lies about Christians teaching original sin.
Everything you just read contradicts the Bible. Paul taught that sin came into the world through Adam. Therefore, all have sinned. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” (Romans 5:12) How through Adam’s disobedience to God, sin came into the world and we were made sinners. “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” (Romans 5:19) People also began to die from Adam forward. “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” (1 Corinthians 15:22) So are Christians out teaching what is false about the original sin through Adam? No. Why do Mormons then teach the opposite about not everyone being a sinner? Satan has already tried to change the true beliefs of Christians. Throughout time, many people have fallen away. We see this in Mormonism, where Mormons blatantly teach the opposite of what the Bible says. They will be held accountable for everything they know and also believe. Amen.

Lord, it is sad to look into the Mormon faith and see that their teachings go against the Bible. I have tried to reason with them, but I am continually called a basher. They also send me horrible memes with my picture in them. You have led me to thousands of Mormons, in order to reason the scriptures with them, however, it is hard to know if any fruit has come from these efforts. No matter what, I will continue to work in Your harvest. If it is to help Christians draw nearer to You daily and to help Mormons unlearn their lies, I do this with all my soul. In less than a month, I will be at their General Conference, and I pray that these evangelistic efforts will be fruitful. We rely on You, Lord, to lead us to the lost, so that we may point them to You in faith. Open our mouths, that we may be fed and know Your wise counsel. Help us speak the words that come into our mouths with Your great power in us. I pray that there will be more Mormons that will come off of the path of destruction and be delivered. Help my family also, who are among the Mormon people. I love You, Jesus. I trust in You, God. Amen.
