If anyone thinks that the Book of Mormon is not plagiarized then feast your eyes on Mormon 9:14 vs Revelation 22:11. The following verse has been copied and pasted from the Bible into the Book of Mormon, and without any reference to Revelation. See for yourself. The plagiarism is found below… “He that is filthy shall be filthy still; and he that is righteous shall be righteous still.” (Mormon 9:14) Compared to “he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still.” (Revelation 22:11) You can read the entire verse in the Book of Mormon here. It is written, “and then cometh the judgment of the Holy One upon them; and then cometh the time that he that is filthy shall be filthy still; and he that is righteous shall be righteous still; he that is happy shall be happy still; and he that is unhappy shall be unhappy still.” (Mormon 9:14) The Bible verse, on the other hand, says, “he that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” (Revelation 22:11)
Let’s continue. There are two more problems when comparing the two verses above. Words were changed. The verse, “he that is unjust, let him be unjust still,” (Revelation 22:11) was changed to “he that is unhappy shall be unhappy still.” (Mormon 9:14) At the same time, “he that is holy, let him be holy still,” (Revelation 22:11) was changed to “he that is happy shall be happy still.” (Mormon 9:14) Is unjust the same as unhappy? No. What about holy? Is it the same as happy? No. Mormons are always changing what the Bible says. But there is more. Mormon is said to live around 400AD and in America. Therefore, he would not have been in contact with John. John lived in Jerusalem around 95 AD, when the Book of Revelation was written. Even if Mormon was real, which he is not, he would not have had a copy of the Book of Revelation. Therefore, we see Joseph Smith and his colleagues copying and pasting Bible verses in the Book of Mormon as fillers. The Book of Mormon was small by itself so adding Bible verses would do the job and make it look longer than it really is. We are not to trust it. Amen.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people in the Mormon religion will begin to examine the Bible in comparison to their own man-made scriptures. If they simply did this, instead of taking everything they’ve learned as truth, then they would see a huge discrepancy in their belief system. It is so wonderful when people begin to compare and contrast other books with Your Holy Word, the Bible. It is at this point that people can see the issues in other books and stop reading them, if necessary. This is all I ask of Mormons, God. I love these people, even though they cannot see this when I witness to them Your truths. You see, Lord, I have been trying other books with Your words in the Bible, and to call these man-made books not inspired is the least I can do for Your sake. I have examined the Book of Mormon and found it to be contrary to the Bible. It also has many plagiarisms in it also. This is a big deal, Lord, and I am grateful that You have opened my eyes to these issues in Mormonism. And now I ask You to help me reach the Mormons for Your sake. I only want to see them come to You and be saved. I love You, Lord. Amen.
