Santa = Satan

The truth is, Santa, or I should say Satan, is a substitute for Jesus when it comes to Christmas. What do kids long for on Christmas day? A visit from Santa, of which he will come bearing toys. He comes on a sleigh in the north, along with his reindeer. He is dressed in red and his hair is as white as snow. Throughout the year, children seek his blessings and favor. Of which, Santa writes down every child’s name in a book and judges them based on their works. Churches even host parties for children during the Christmas season, where Santa is the center of attention. Children are able to sit up on his lap and secretly tell him what they most want for Christmas and in life. This tradition of raising kids to believe in Santa is worldwide and even the world venerates and adores Santa. Are you able to see the problems here? Santa, or what I would call Satan, has come and taken away the importance of Jesus in the best possible way he can, by going after children. Now imagine how Jesus must feel about this. His wrath is upon people who put Santa in their homes and churches for sure.

So what do true Christians do? We venerate and adore Jesus, not a man-made person like Santa. Jesus is what we put first and is centered in our lives. We seek His blessings and favor, not false gods, and especially not Satan. He resides in heaven and will return with his angels and the saints when we least expect it. Speaking of how He judges, “another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” (Revelation 20:12) “His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow.” (Revelation 1:14) “He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood.” (Revelation 19:13) Does the appearance of Jesus remind you of someone? Santa Clause of course. Santa/Satan doesn’t want children to pray to God for their wants and needs. Instead, he wants children to make a list for him. And if he gets them at a young age, these same children will teach their children about Santa also. Satan has infiltrated the churches worldwide, and as Christians, we say no to Satan and yes to God. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people’s hearts will be turned to You and away from Santa/Satan. The devil has blinded the hearts and minds of millions of people, in so much that they are raising their children to believe in Santa. If they just knew that this is the enemy’s desire and not Yours. He is so crafty with what he does to trick people. He has even helped people to imagine and believe in a person that is similar to You and Your nature, Jesus, but a false god nonetheless. Truly, the god of this world, who is Satan, is that god. I pray that every person who is reading this prayer will find things in their possession that have to do with Santa, reindeer, his sleigh, his workshop at the north pole, and destroy them. Yes, God, I pray that people will take these ornaments, figurines, paintings, and more, and remove them once and for all from their lives. That the plagues and curses from Satan will leave them and their homes. Lord, set them free from the lies of Satan. I believe in You, God. I trust in You, Jesus. Have Your way in my life. Cleanse me of all my iniquities. I will live for You. I love You. Amen.

  1. You make the important point here that we can’t allow the belief in Santa to overtake the importance of the birth of Jesus. All the time spent buying gifts and other business has disturbed me for years. I would much prefer to get rid of all that all together. Actually, scholars say that Jesus was born sometime in the Spring or Fall. Why don’t we just choose to celebrate the birth of Jesus at the appropriate time-without all the nonsense. If people want to do the gift giving thing, do it in December when Jesus was not born.

  2. Yes Santa is Satan. If you don’t believe me, look at all of the similarities to Jesus and remember that Satan is a copycat and an imitator. Santa is Satan and that’s true as true can be. People have replaced Jesus Christ with Santa. What a shame! They’ve replaced a man who died for them with a man who doesn’t even exist. They will pay heavily for it.
