Joseph Smith declared that he would be god to the Mormon people. It is written, “God is not willing to let me gratify you; but I must teach the Elders, and they should teach you. God made Aaron to be the mouthpiece for the children of Israel, and He will make me be god to you in His stead, and the Elders to be mouth for me; and if you don’t like it, you must lump it.” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg 363) Brigham Young took this even further and said that Joseph is a supreme being in heaven, even God. “No man or women in this dispensation will ever enter into the kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith…Every man and women must have the certificate of Joseph Smith junior, as a passport to their entrance into the mansion where God and Christ are…He reigns there as supreme a being in his sphere, capacity, and calling, as God does in heaven. Many will exclaim—”Oh, that is very disagreeable! It is preposterous! We cannot bear the thought!” But it is true.”” (JofD vol7 p 282-291) And so those who are saved must pass through Joseph Smith to be allowed into heaven, not Jesus.
The claim that Joseph Smith must allow us into heaven is a ludicrous teaching that is not of God. This is essentially making him the mediator between us and the Father. This is taking away Jesus’s importance and putting it upon him instead. “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 2:5) Who is preparing our mansions and will receive us up in heaven? Jesus alone. “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-3) Jesus is the only way to heaven, not Joseph Smith. Speaking to Thomas, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) To say that Joseph Smith is God means that you also worship him this way. Mormons do this as they sing “Praise To The Man” to this dead man. They make him their idol, which is idolatry. Amen.

Oh Lord, I pray for the sake of every Mormon person. Although they are lost in following false prophets, many people can still come out of it and be saved. I rebuke every false teaching in their cult. Surely, Your teachings in the Bible reign true, while their man-made/satanic teachings will be burnt up in the fire. I look forward to Your coming, when true believers are raised up in the clouds to be with You. I also feel sorry for the Mormon people, who will be destroyed with the wicked. Many of them can still be saved through Your hand, although the majority of their hearts are so hardened against the truth. So lead me and millions of other Christians to witness to them. The results will be better if we come in agreement on reaching these lost people for Your cause. Otherwise, we will continue to let them believe in what is false, while allowing them to die in their sins. We don’t talk or teach in the same way because Satan is over their religious system. They are not following You, but the devil unknowingly. Lord, lead the lost out of their cult today. I believe in You, God. I trust in You. Amen.
