Mind Focused On God

Keep your mind focused on the Lord. Don’t let things around you like Video Games, TV, Computers, Phones, Tablets distract you from God. Limit your time in these things or anything else that is taking your time away from God. Spending an hour in Bible Study, daily, will help you come to know God personally. Spending more time in prayer, each day, will strengthen your relationship with God. When your heart is for Him, your flesh is put at bay and the things of God can be made manifest in your life. Our sinful nature is less apparent and doing God’s work is more important. The more you love God the more you will think of others instead of yourself. Others needs will come first. When God is in control your family’s needs will also be met. I pray that you do the Lord’s will and that His hand will be made made manifest in your life. Trust in God and you will be made strong in Him. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” May His peace and love be with you all.

Matthew 6:31-34 (KJV)
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
