Many times I have talked to people who are involved with another woman sexually outside of marriage. That can mean that the person has decided that they are above the law and can simply live with their significant other and not get married. Even people in my family and friends have done this, which is terrible in the sight of God. We also have many people simply having sex before marriage, which is all so wicked in God’s sight. There are people who cannot control their lust and continue to look upon other women sexually while they are married, even if it involves a person who is already married. They pursue them even if it means that their marriage and relationship with their spouse and God are destroyed. And I am not leaving out those who are unmarried and seek to court another person even if they are married, which is so very sinful in God’s sight. Now, I am not excluding those who are involved in a homosexual relationship. This relationship in itself goes against God’s will for marriage and is more than bad in His sight. Lastly, a person who is involved with pornography is not doing any better than the things just mentioned. Each time they look at a man or woman who is naked, they are joining themselves with that harlot in their minds. Of which is damning them to hell.
To these people who are involved with the sexual sins mentioned above, they are walking on the wide road that leads to destruction. God’s wrath is upon such people, and unless they repent and come to Jesus in all their confessions, they will be cast-off in the lake of fire come judgment day. And here is a warning to people who are involved in these sins. Paul said, “know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:15-20) God hates fornication and when you are involved with sexual sin, you are doing things contrary to His will. Therefore, fighting against God means you are on Satan’s side and not God’s. This will land a person in hell when they die. Only by turning from these sins, will Jesus hear our prayers and grant us mercy. He is our key to eternal life in heaven.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, our God, have mercy upon this wicked and adulterous generation. So many people are full of lust and don’t realize they are on the pathway to hell. I wish that people would understand the gravity of their sins, but people continue to justify them day in and day out, like nothing ever happened. I have talked to so many people who are unafraid of what comes next, come death, which horrifies me just thinking about this. I can only imagine what will happen to these people when they eventually die, who were involved in sexual sin. Do they not know that You can see everything we do in this life? That nothing is hidden in Your sight? So when people are caught up in adulterous affairs, you can see everything that is happening behind closed doors. The same goes for people who are looking at pornography, having sex outside of marriage, involved in homosexual relationships, and more. Surely, our lust is going to damn us all to hell, lest we repent and turn to You instead. I know that I have been deeply involved in sexual sin myself and if I hadn’t turned from my wicked ways, my life would be an absolute mess right now. Thankfully, You didn’t cast me off into hell and had me die earlier in my sins. I know that justice would have been served, but instead, You had patience enough to see me repent and turn to You instead. Thank You, Jesus, for giving me another chance at life. I don’t deserve Your love, but to be cast off like the rest. I don’t deserve Your mercy, but am so grateful that You restored me in the faith. I love You, Lord. Lead me all my days. Amen.
