When We Accept A Sinful Lifestyle And Justify It

Many people think that if they are ok with their own lifestyle, then what they are doing is right. And where is it for us to judge them in this? They may have thought what they were doing was wrong in the beginning but have now accepted this new way of life. Now, as Christians, we love these people still, but speak the truth about heaven and hell. That people are heading to hell if they die in their sins. Only by repenting and coming unto Jesus will they be saved. However, many of them take this as a threat and even kill themselves in suicide, which is sad. And who do you think I am speaking of here? Homosexuals, including transgenders and others that support the gay pride movement. These people surely come to my mind here. They have even said that because they have accepted their new life, we should now accept them also and not say anything contrary. However, the same can be said for anybody who is having sex outside of marriage and are now justifying it as being ok, since they have now moved in with each other. This happens all the time also, but it doesn’t mean it is right. This is still fornication in the sight of God, which will also keep a person out of heaven, along with homosexuality. So just because we justify our sinful actions in our own minds, it doesn’t mean that God is ok with our actions. On the contrary actually, for we are counted unworthy when we willfully sin against God. We are not justified through the blood of Jesus if we continue to do what we think is right, instead of what God says.

Paul said the following unto those who call themselves believers in God’s church. “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:26-31) “Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:7,8) My friends, you are not God’s side, but the devils, if sin abounds in your life. Therefore, repent and allow the Lord to break you free from your addiction, bad habits, evil lifestyle, and false beliefs. Only by doing God’s will, will you become His child and not the devil’s. Through the Holy Spirit, your desires will become conformed to His righteous ways.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will begin to draw near unto You. That they will give up their sinful ways and fall down at Your feet in prayer. Our sins only do more damage in our lives, where the Holy Spirit allows us to walk in Your righteousness and not fall. So God, draw them to their knees. In tears, help them know that You are real and that there is a penalty for our sins, lest they allow You take it upon You. Surely, You have already paid the penalty for sin, but we must do our part to accept Your humble and willful sacrifice. We can’t be partway in, but all in for You and Your kingdom. I love Your ways, oh Lord, and wish that more people could see things the way I can now. You have given me eyes to see You in a brand new way. The moment I was baptized and was raised out of the water you put the Holy Spirit in me and I was born again. No longer did I desire to sin against You, but to fearfully walk in Your ways. You deserve our respect our honor, this day, and forever. I love You, Lord. So how could I sin against a God that I love? Surely, my praises are to You, Jesus. Because of Your love for me, You have given me over to a mind that hates sin and loves Your commandments instead. I am fearfully and wonderfully made by You, my God, and my Father. Thank You, Lord. May more people come unto You and be saved. I wish that more people who are heading to hell will be delivered in Your mighty Name, Jesus. Cast the darkness out of their lives and lead them into Your bounteous light. I trust in You. I believe in You. In Your mighty Name, Jesus, I pray this. Amen.

  1. Have repented of much sin in life, at war with sin continually, and always asking GOD for His strength and power to faithfully and completely overcome it and all else that is not of Him and of His Spirit. He is so, so faithful to do so and am now only just beginning to successfully live in Jesus and in the Spirit and not of the things of this world; truely knowing that, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
