All children are precious in the sight of God. This includes every baby in the womb and newborns. And if you are a Christian, then you ought to know that abortion is an abomination to God. It is one of the worst sins to ever be committed and will take a person to hell when they die, lest they repent. How is this? It is because killing unborn babies is murder, which God hates. The blood that is spilt in abortion is upon the woman and man’s heads, that are involved with it. Now, what I am saying may cut different people to the heart, because of their sins, but know that the Bible is even more so convicting than my words. John wrote, 4“he that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:7,8) The key here is overcometh all things, these people are on God’s side, and have rights into heaven. Overcoming means that they have given their lives to Jesus. He has heard their confessions and is made whole. Therefore, their guilt is no longer over their heads in what they have done. In this, they are given a new life to live that gives them freedom from their addictions and past sins. However, those people that remain in their sins and don’t make Jesus Lord of their life, will die in their sinful state and have their place in hell. Then after judgment, be cast in the lake of fire, which burneth forever.
I hope that what you’ve just learned has helped you understand the gravity of the sin of abortion. Truly, if this has hit you like a rock and you now know how bad this really is, then you should be in tears about this, what you’ve done, or supported. Now, did you know that over 50 million babies have been murdered in abortion since it was legalized? How about that over a million babies are killed each year? This is devastating in every fashion of the word. It is also similar to what happened at the time of Jesus’s birth, but way worse. Now, if you don’t know what happened, here is that story. Matthew wrote, 2“then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men. Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.” (Matthew 2:16-18) This story of two years and younger babies being killed by the sword is devastating, of which some Christians have a hard time reading because of this. If you are a mother, just imagine someone taking your baby from your arms and murdering it in your sight. This is so sad and still doesn’t compare to what happens in an abortion.
Did you know that God cares for not only the newborn babies but also the babies in the womb? If so, does this change your opinion at all about being pro-life or pro-abortion? If not, then it should. It is because God’s ways should be instilled in every Christian’s life, and if His desires are not in our hearts, then something is wrong with our faith. We are not really who we say we are with Christ and our love for Him, if our opinion does not match His. Now, without further ado, let’s get God’s opinion on this matter, so that you may see it for yourself and act on it as well. Jeremiah wrote, 1“then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:4,5) Therefore, we learn that as Jeremiah was being formed in the womb of his mother, God sanctified him and even ordained him to the ministry of a prophet. This is big time and means that God’s blessings are upon us even while we are in the womb of our mothers. Also, Luke wrote the following about John, 3“for he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.” (Luke 1:13-15) So we learn that he was filled with the Spirit, while in his mother’s womb, which means we can be as well. To conclude, don’t mess with God’s creation. He is ordaining, sanctifying, and putting the Holy Spirit in specific babies before they are born. Follow Jesus and become pro-life as He is.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray for the lives of every unborn child right now. May they be protected by Your mighty hand. I don’t wish to hear about any more innocent lives being killed before they have a chance to be born. Abortion really makes me sad and I know that You have a way to stop this madness before it gets worse. So come into the lives of the women that are contemplating doing this vial and wicked act right now. And convict them that these thoughts are of Satan. Help them understand the worth of their future child. Even if they can’t seem to think of a way to support the baby when it is born, may they talk to Elders in their church for assistance. And if no support is available from the church, family, or friends, give them hope in that You will make things work out, if they just trust in You. There are places that will help people them, that will deliver there baby at no cost or as little as possible to them. These are good-hearted people and I pray that these women will find such pro-life clinics. I know that there is adoption as a possibility, so I pray that these women won’t throw this thought out either. All I desire is that the life of this innocent child, Your beautiful and precious creation, will have a chance to live out their life. How is it that people can think that they can mess with what You are forming in the womb and murder these babies? This is so sad and is murder! So those women that have already done this, may they repent and give their lives to You. Then, can they find refreshing and forgiveness for their sins. I love You, Lord. I trust in You for answers. Amen.
