Nobody will ever fully understand how babies are born. The life form that comes from an egg cell and sperm is so mysterious. For that reason, we cannot reproduce it. It is God that brings life into this world and His power will never be understood. Solomon said, 2“as thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.” Our minds will never comprehend God’s awesome power, for it is too awesome to even think about. On this matter, why abort such a precious gift from God. Truly think about what God has made before making any rash decisions based on your own life. This child that God has made is important and ought to be cherished. If you are a woman, then go all in and deliver your gorgeous baby boy or girl. If you are a man, then be there for your spouse and lift her up throughout the pregnancy. Then, when the baby is born, remember to raise the child in the ways of the Lord. As Solomon said, 1“train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” I pray that you heed this counsel and raise your children right, that God may be pleased.
As parents, we have a great opportunity to live by example. We may have done foolish things while in this life but as we desire to not only grow in the Lord but be an example to our children, we put away childish things. We repent, as we also teach our kids, for if we neglect this opportunity we know there will be consequences come judgement day. Solomon said, 2“rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.” In heeding this counsel, you are therefore listening to God. His desires are now on your heart. This change is so important and will lead you to walk in the light and to know longer abide in darkness. Though those days may be many, our time with the Lord is what matters now. Seek the Lord through Bible and prayer daily and God’s light will shine through you and upon your family. This example of a true believer will make a huge difference in yours and your family’s life. God bless you on your journey.
Let us pray:
Lord God, this gift of life is surely amazing. I cannot even fathom how you created us all. I am left in awe just thinking about my children and how they came about. What precious babies they were and now they are still so beautiful as they age. I am so blessed to have my daughters and wife in my life. Each of them brings me so much joy. They give off this light that is contagious. Thank You for the love they show me. I know that it was You that made it all possible. You ordained my family from the beginning. Now, with Your light in my life I can guide them to know what is right and what is wrong. I can teach them Your ways, that they may also come to know You also. In order to help raise my children, with my wife, I understand that childish things are in the past. It is important to put off the dark things of the past and follow You. If Your light falls from my countenance, I know that my children will stumble also. So please help me and my wife fight temptation and to always seek You. We only want to follow You Lord. You are the light of our lives and we love You. Our hope is in You. Amen.
