There is one person in this life that I so dearly want people to discover above all else. His name is Jesus. There is no one like Him. He is our God and Lord of all creation. Through Him, there is salvation in heaven. No one has ever sinned to much as to not be forgiven by Him. His mercy is for all. On the cross, Jesus died for my sins, your sins, and everyone else in this world. To accept this sacrifice it only takes a humble heart. When a person decides that today is the day for salvation and comes unto Him in repentance, there is much rejoicing. As pride lifts, Jesus is able to come into a person’s life and transform them through His blood. As people pray and confess their sins openly, they are allowing the Lord to save them. It is promised 1“that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” And through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, He offers mercy freely to those that trust in Him. Will you trust in Jesus, for salvation, today?
There are many things in this life that people trust in but all these things are temporary and lead to destruction, apart from Jesus. The Lord God desires that we are saved and no longer walk in darkness. Many things appear good in this life but only Jesus has the power to save. Let it be known 2“unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth” we are saved. 2“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” I pray that You look to Jesus for salvation. No longer live a life, where your belief is in words alone, but have true faith that trusts in Jesus. Belief is something we can all say we have but 3“faith without works is dead”. Know that 3“the devils also believe, and tremble.” A belief without action does nothing to help us. May you decide today to come to Jesus and learn of Him. Read the Bible daily and pray often. Through this, you will know what path is right and allow the Lord to help you.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I believe in You. I know that You are my Savior and Lord of all. Only You have the power to take away my sins. Please forgive me. I confess that I am a sinner and have need of Your mercy. Take away the bondage of sin from my life. Cut down the chains that have me bound. Break me free Lord. Lead me away from the lusts of this world and onto Your path. I no longer wish to live apart from Your love. Fill me with Your peace and Your understanding. Help me know how to fight against temptation and truly win the battle. Do help me come out on top, even when it is hard. I need You, Lord, to fight the battle with me. I trust that You can do all things in my life. With You by my side, I am able to come out victorious. For this reason, I give You my life. Do with it as You please. Take my wicked heart and help me live in Your righteousness. I need You. I love You. Amen.

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
