Everyone that is living out there faith has somebody they know or talked with that has been in opposition to them. You may have put yourself out there and shared the gospel of Jesus Christ, the best you can, to somebody and then been shut down. You may have even been scrutinized or ridiculed for your beliefs in God. If these things have not happened to you, then rethink the life you are leading for Christ. Understand that these things will happen in our fight to live for Christ and do His will. There will be people that will have no part with Jesus and His gospel. Know that this is not a new thing. David, in the Bible, dealt with the same issue. 1He was afflicted for His beliefs in God, from his youth. However, God had the better hand in all of it. He 1“cut asunder the cords of the wicked”. In His heart, he desired that they would be confounded in their unbelief and seek after God for answers. However, many people did not follow God. These same type of people are in our day. They continue to deny the existence and importance of following God. What they have in their lives now, makes them feel better off without God. Their hearts are closed off, as they are content with their lives.
Don’t worry to much about the people that scrutinize your faith. Continue in prayer that they change their heart. It is good to pray for these people but don’t let them keep you down. The seeds that you are planting will truly help those that end up seeking God, in the end. You can only hope that they will remember what you told them and come around to God. Hoping for their salvation is much better than sulking in their unbelief. You will meet people that will listen and others that will not. As long as you are willing to open your mouths, you will do great things for God. Even if there is one person out of a thousand people that come to Christ, through your efforts, God be praised. 2The heavens are rejoicing with even one sinner that repents. Continue to be a light to this generation. Bless the people that you encounter on a daily basis. Say to them, as David would, to the people he spoke with, 1“we bless you in the name of the Lord.” This and “God bless you” is a great way to let other people know your faith in Christ. It will also let them know that you wish God to bless them. These blessings will come to those that are seeking the Lord. Pray that people are blessed and do come to a belief in Christ the Lord.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, please give everyone in the faith a desire to open their mouths and witness for You. Give them motivation to live out their faith and not be left keeping their faith to themselves. Will You give them courage to share Your gospel message? Fill their minds and hearts with words to speak, even when opposition comes. Give them boldness to go out in Your harvest. I know that everything happens for a reason. Some people will listen and others reject You. I just pray that You do lead me and others to those that are ready. Help us know who is desiring a blessing from You. Allow me to come to them and share the good news of the gospel. May they accept prayer and be blessed by Your presence. May their hearts be pierced by Your words. As I leave them, I pray that the Spirit will continue to move inside of them to faith. I trust in You, Jesus. I know that all things are possible with You in my life. I love You. Amen.

5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
6 Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:

8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we bless you in the name of the Lord.
2Matthew 18:11-14 (KJV)

12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
