I give praise to the Lord for His goodness and grace. His ways are good and righteous. He surely opens the doors to share the gospel if we let Him. 1All He asks is that we open our mouths and He will speak through us. We will know what to say in that very hour He needs us. Not everyone will listen but those that are ready will and their lives will be changed forever. All this can be done because God loves us all so much. He desires that all those that are lost are saved. He gave His only begotten Son to die for us that we might be forgiven. The cross is for everyone that desires to be free from their shame and guilt. It is impactful when we desire true forgiveness for things that we have done wrong. For this, I’ve given Jesus full access to my life and to do His will. I want all the world to know that Jesus saves. There is more to life than what the world offers. There is true love that never ends, only through Jesus. This was the night that God could use me to fulfill this calling. I could be God’s instrument to bring souls unto Him. As the three of us went out, marvelous things took place. The lost were prayed over and given gospel tracts to know the way. Christians were fellowshipped and brought closer to the loving arms of Jesus. As we went out sharing the good news I could feel the Holy Spirit surrounding us. His power came forth from us and touched the hearts of many as we declared God’s great Name. One couple stopped me and asked me what the card was about that I gave her. I told her that it was about Jesus and how there is life after death. She was encouraged since she also was a Christian. She asked if people were receptive and I told her they were. People of all walks of life are desiring to better follow Jesus and are giving us their time to pray for them and hear the gospel. I also told her about my experience with Victor yesterday, when he gave his life to Christ, at his doorstep, and she seemed very excited about this. It was amazing to see her and her husband so eager to see this gospel go forth. As they walked away this trolley with many people in it went past me. Â I then ran to keep up with it and gave as many tracts to them that I could. Â It was such a wonderful moment to share the gospel.
One gentlemen I spoke with was Don. We must have talked for about a half hour about Jesus. He is seeking the Lord and trying to break free of his smoking addiction. All I wanted to do with him was lift up the name of Jesus and let the Spirit speak to his heart. We spoke of God’s mercy for forgiving us, though we are sinners. That Jesus is so kind to allow us back into His fold. When we come to Him, we are safe. We are on His path that leads to life in heaven. Though it is a journey, God will lead us home if we let Him. It may seem like a tight rope in the beginning but it will eventually get easier to walk until we are comfortable in God’s presence. It was amazing to speak with Him and at the end we were both uplifted to follow Jesus. Before I left him we prayed. I lifted him up and asked God to watch over him. That he’d be safe and have the things he needs. That God would give him guidance. It was awesome to just fellowship with someone that is seeking to overcome their addictions and follow Jesus. After we spoke, I talked with Catherine. We talked about her week and how she’s been. In the end, I encouraged her to read more often in the Bible, especially with her daughter. I asked if we could pray together and she said yes. I prayed that she’d find a job. That she’d be blessed with the things she needs. That God would watch over her. That she’d follow in the ways of the Lord and be a light to those around her. After we talked, we finished the night by passing out more gospel tracts. So many people were receptive to them. One young girl saw what we were handing out gospel tracts and started smiling. I gave her a card but also asked if she wanted a Bible, in which she said, “yes, thank you”. She then left so happy.
Let us pray:
Thank You Lord for using us this night to declare Your gospel truths. I love You and only desire to do Your will. Your ways are my ways. I love to follow You and bring others closer to You. I pray that these people we talked to and prayed over will read these tracts and remember the Spirit they felt in their hearts. May these seeds lead to salvation in Your kingdom. Thank You Lord. Amen.
