Tonight was a wonderful evening to share the love of Jesus with people. The four of us walked the streets of downtown Boise handing out devotional cards and tracks on Jesus. Many were receptive to them. Some of the cards even started conversations about Jesus. To see so many people open up to the Lord brought joy to my heart. I even ran out of cards so I went back to my car and got more of them along with a few homeless packs. There were so many homeless that had hardly anything. One thing they did have was an open heart to hear God’s message. We were able to pray over them and present them with some food. It may not have seemed like much to us but it meant the world to them. We prayed and asked God that He would be with them in these hard times. That the Lord may be there guide where ever they may be going. This one man, particularly, was so open that He accepted a Bible and said He’d read it. Praise God that the lost were found tonight. I am so grateful that we were able to direct people to Jesus. It would have been awesome to just see one person have a heart to look to Jesus but tonight God put many people in our path. How wonderful is our God. He surely is a God of miracles. It was my prayer that hearts would be open and God did just that. He surely opens doors to let His glorious gospel be preached. I am grateful, Lord, that You gave me this passion to share Your love. You are a light to my life. I pray that this light may be manifest in my life as I share Your good news with others. May the hearts of these people that received cards, tracks, prayers, and Your Word preached be forever changed. I deliver them to You that the Holy Spirit may speak to their hearts. You are my strong tower and I pray that others will also see Your importance in their lives. I love You and all I desire is to serve You, my King of glory. I lift You up in praise for You are worthy.
Matthew 5:14-16 (KJV)
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
