Feed The Hungry

I pray that any of you that feel blessed with enough money that you give to those in need. There are so many people on the streets and living in poverty. If you see anyone like this please help them. Even if you only have a few unopened water bottles give it to them. Whatever you can give, I know they will be so grateful. If someone doesn’t have enough money to buy food at the grocery store, offer to pay. If you see a person in need, on the street, treat them to some food for many are so hungry. Offering money to the poor is another option but do all this out of the kindness of your heart. The Lord asks us to feed the poor and needy. Giving Him our hearts to serve Him is what He desires.

Look to others that have needs over yourselves. Doing this will change your very nature. You will learn to have compassion on others. When we follow Jesus, kindness will follow in our lives. It will overflow on others we are in contact with. When we start feeling for others needs God’s will is able to take shape in our lives. Oh Lord, I fall to my knees and offer everything I am to You. Teach us to love one another. Help us to hunger and thirst for your words. For your promises never run dry. Give us a heart to serve You. I feel so sorry for those that are suffering. I want to help them all but I can only do so much. Please open the hearts of many to help those in need. I love You Lord. I trust in your promises.

Matthew 25:37-40 (KJV)
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
